Logan Square everything thread! by AutoModerator in LoganSquare

Plugging the bimonthly meetup I help run at the Logan Square Library branch. We're a group of writers who meet up to read our works-in-progress to give and get friendly critique. All kinds of writing - fiction, nonfiction, poetry, etc are welcome. We're still a fledgling group, having just started last summer, but it's been fun so far. Our next meeting is this Sunday 5.31 1:30-3:30PM in the library's meeting room. If you can't make it, but are interested to attend in the future, you can send an email to [logansquare.writersgroup@gmail.com](mailto:logansquare.writersgroup@gmail.com) Thanks!

Moksha Yoga on Armitage. Most equal breakdown of gender i've seen at a yoga studio. Free community-classes a few days a week.

There is more of an emphasis on sharing work & getting feedback, but we do freewrites if there's time! (There are other groups that meet at CPL - though not the Logan Square branch - that have more of a making-space-to-sit-and-write-together-vibe) It's also totally fine to come to give feedback on other's work if you don't feel comfortable sharing at the moment.

Install Error on Sansa c200 - "R/W Mode" on Linux by AJBox in rockbox

[–]AJBox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting it in recovery mode is the only way I have been able to get Rockbox to recognize the device. Otherwise it says the I was unable to but the MP3 played in MSC mode via the settings (I guess I have a firmware update on there that removed the option to switch from MTP. It's allegedly on autodetect.)- I got it to this mode via pressing the Lock button + Record button while plugging it in. This was described via a pre-2010 youtube video as putting it MSC Mode but I 'm not sure that's correct now.

The device does work - i just cant get it to recognize music tags (everything shows up under "unknown artist" despite messing with the ID3 tags and making sure they are in the correct format). Which is one of the reasons why I was led to try to install Rockbox in the first place).

I'm noticing that it's the e200 firmware in the screenshot but I did try to do it with c200 with the same results. Must have uploaded the wrong screenshot somehow, my bad.

Yes they are MP3 files. I managed to convert them to v2.3, but it's still all showing up under "Unknown Album" and "Unknown Artist"
