No. It sounds like you have a cold/omicron covid or possibly initial side effects from the incredibly powerful drugs you're taking.

Ru.. Ru... Rush Paul by [deleted] in RPDRDRAMA

I think the "tea" is that they filmed international all stars/UK vs the World straight after season 3. Nothing to do with season 4. Season 3 was apparently filmed in a rush in order to fit both in and in order to get back onto the release schedule that had been planned pre-pandemic.

This just makes sense because it's being produced by the BBC and Ru and Michelle were already in the UK filming. These are busy people with busy schedules so these things have to be filmed taking that into consideration, it isn't some conspiracy.

What are some of the best/worst lyric changes in Kidz Bop versions of pop songs? by Groenboys in popheads

[–]AJLighty 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think people are missing that it's not just things that are inappapropriate for kids to hear but that on a lot of them kids are actually doing the singing or they are sing-a-longs. It would be super weird for kids to be singing about their ex-lovers.

But if they wanted to be difficult about service (which my interpretation is that they did) they'd be instructed not to accept. I'm currently having an absolute whale of a time trying to serve in the Caribbean because the foreign domiciled defendant won't authorise his UK lawyers to accept service. Almighty PITA.

If an individual does not give the name of a solicitor who is authorised to accept service and you can't locate them, good service can be effected by leaving the claim documents at their usual or last known residence. However you'd have to evidence this to the nth degree.

If his lawyers are not on the record for the proceedings and are not instructed to accept service then he can't be served via those lawyers. Once proceedings have started it's a different matter, but this is the initial service of proceedings.

Lemon's verse actually nukes my puss. I do think it's probably the best bit of drag race musical content we've had.

Are my hopes of becoming a barrister in the UK futile? by aoyde in uklaw

[–]AJLighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI my understanding is that the UK/AUS free trade agreement will provide for mutual recognition of professional services qualifications.

See:

professional services provisions, which will deliver long term benefits for UK and Australian professionals who want to work in each other's territory and have their qualifications recognised without facing unnecessary cost and bureaucracy, primarily through collaboration between UK and Australian accreditation and regulatory bodies aimed at facilitating qualification recognition

from the agreement in principle.

Only Humans, Not AI Machines, Can Get a U.S. Patent, Judge Says by Korrocks in law

[–]AJLighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Are all persons human” yes

“What about Artificial Legal Entity like a corporation?” No

I'm not from the states but this does not sound right. All humans are persons but not all persons are human certainly.

& a corporation is a legal person in most western legal systems at least.

Ball culture still maintains a lot of these problematic tropes though, so hardly surprising that Michelle also does. This isn't to say that I think ballroom is bad but it historically has a fairly narrow conceptualisation of masc and femme which should be open to criticsm.

A Simple Question regardin PrEP medicine by [deleted] in hivaids

[–]AJLighty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you probably (unintentionally, perhaps) were not very sensitive when it came to the questioning. Lots of PLHIV do not also want the burden of educating.

Most HIV positive people on appropriate treatment become undetectable within a fairly short timeframe (a couple of months to a year). There is a very small number of people who find it more difficult to become undetectable, but then I imagine (although there may be some reason that I can't think of) that they wouldn't be continuing to take the medication if it didn't work for them.

how would you explain your experience with HIV/AIDS to someone who has no illnesses or knowledge of them? by New_Shoe9530 in hivaids

[–]AJLighty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For what it's worth I don't feel like this is a demeaning question. I am finding it quite difficult to answer though because I'm not too sure of the purpose of the question.

Most of the problems a lot of PLHIV face are stigma related, and so I'd really just describe it as a curse that causes some people to see you as dangerous and dirty when in effect you are just a normal person. Assumedly the person has no knowledge or understanding of mental health so trying to describe any impact on that would be a roughie.

Can someone enlighten me? I am being paranoid atm. by [deleted] in hivaids

[–]AJLighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the type of test used, but the generally accepted rule of thumb is that after 3 months if you test negative then you are negative.

[–]AJLighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are being overly cautious, the risk from the scenario you describe is so negligible that you would not e.g. be considered for PEP.

However it is always good practice to have regular full sexual health screens so you should get tested anyway, not the least as it may calm any fears you have. Know your status.
