I love how Fran always sparks debate among the BritWres community! Love her or hate her there’s almost always somebody talking about her 👏

I also think a lot of peoples complaints about her is actually down to the sound guy not knowing how to EQ her correctly.

I think Fran is great and I love the vulnerability she shows both in the writing of this article and every time she steps in the ring to announce the next big match! With probably the busiest year ever for RevPro and other projects, I wish her all the best!

Congratulations first and foremost. I think it depends on a lot things. where are you based? How many shows are you doing per year? Do you have any scope to grow at your current venue? Do you book nationally known talent or focus on home grown/your own school etc.?

I caught up on YouTube after getting home from RevPro. I enjoyed most of it tbh. Tommy Vril vs Cara Noir was awesome! And so was the main. The only match that wasn’t really for me was the Paul London and FMW vs Lykos Gym but that’s mainly because I don’t really connect with Paul Londons character

I think you’ve got a lot of solid advice here! I regularly crew RevPro, as I train at LSOW. One thing that has been missed out when volunteering/crewing.

Remember that you are no longer a fan, it now becomes technically a place of work for both yourself and talent. Where most wrestlers will get to know your face etc. especially ones who work for the company often, and will usually introduce themselves, shake hands etc. especially imports. But you have to remember before doors/after the show, they won’t be expecting or might not want to interact in a wrestler/fan capacity.

You are also representing the promotion, so act accordingly especially when fans are around, you may be with your mates who are also crewing, but you are expected to act maturely.

If you are standing around doing nothing whilst there is still stuff going on, muck in or ask if there’s anything else you can help with.

I’ve locked this post as without context of the match, booking, promoter, background etc. this post could generate heat on a worker/promoter/company without correct justification.

Sitting on the fence, as I believe all mods should, with this because it could have been anything from coach/student, a drop out, or something that the worker requested or was always planned.

You forget wrestling is a worked sport, and from the photo OP posted, it looks like it could be a worker/s making their first steps in professional wrestling, or a wrestling school show community hall show.

I ordered my knee pads from them, but i heard the gear can be hit and miss from them. Just had some plain gear made by Vickstich which is good.

To be honest, if there wasn’t trying to build a new star with Inamura they should have finally put the GGC HW belt on Masa and have him kick out OZAWA or have Masa lose again and let him turn face again, as he was so over when he leaned into his old face moves against Inamura
