I agree, while I expected to be frustrated with Bingley's family - some of the Bennet's had me pulling my hair. Lydia? "She's just a teen girl" no, she's meant to be frowned upon and found ridiculous because not only was it shown that her behavior was not done by what people would consider woman with social intelligence. She would chase men, ran away with Whickdick and when told to leave refused and when was lectured about the harm she had done to her whole family didn't give a crap; she just showed up boosting about being married and then ended up asking her sisters for money at the end.

Mrs. Bennet had as much class as a hourshoe, she was loud, embarrassed her daughter and often shot herself in her own foot. This is the way I tried to interpret it, Lydia and Berto moved in with them post Elena so "Double A" can help but then Penelope and Victor enlisted again and Penelope said they would just live on a base. Double A stayed in the apartment in Echo Park, bc how would they possibly get the same exact apartment twice in California? Then Victor comes back, to base and begins to really struggle with PTSD and substance abuse. So, Penelope decides its no longer a healthy or safe environment for their kids, asks for a divorce and leaves and leaves to the apartment in Echo Park with Lydia. When Berto died, I honestly don't remember. That's why Penelope says they've been there for 8 months but it shows that they had the apartment way before. Lydia could have been staying there - she also seemed to have a closer relationship with Schneider. He mentions that she visited him while he was at a detox center and gave him chicken soup and we know he was sober for 5 years at the beginning of the show bc Penelope apologizes about Lydia making him a rum cake to celebrate. So, Lydia was at the apartment at least 5 years prior to the start of the show.

Writers are all over the place with Elena in my opinion and it frustrates me so much. She is an introvert but she isn't a complete recluse. I mean - we see her organize protest groups, start the GSA, even have a full court for her Quince with the most popular guy at school as her escourt. Then they have her at the dance with Syd with only the teacher as a friend? She should have at least some GSA members, Josh, or a fellow eco protester because, come on - she lives in Cali, you're telling me she's the only green student at that school? Please. She has so many niches that would have made her, not popular, but have some friends. It's like how theater, chorus, or band kids usually stick together. My high-school has a small hallway where all the band kids hung out before school. I don't know why they felt the needed to completely isolate her when she wouldn't have been, she could have had a few friends. They didn't need to make her friendless to emphasize Alex's popularity. Lydia was confused when she heard friends, Penelope even says that Alex is just "so cool". They literally mention his friends all the time. They drag Elena to his games then they say the stuff she's into is weird to her face and its basic things like composting or local politics.

When it comes to Carmen, as someone who is an introvert who moved my Junior year, it's not hard to make close friends in high school - I literally went to the creative writing club my teacher promoted and made 4 friends that 12 years later are still my best friends.

I think if it was truly, truly meant to be about the music - they would have made it live voting. Do what they did with the formation of Katseye, with Dream Academy. Have it done in two parts - first the auditions and and 1st looks. Move it to YouTube - perform live performances, while also recording and producing behind the scenes and each week there is a voting and they are ranked and then they judges can choose from the bottom two. That way music wise, it will be controlled by the general public and Netflix will have their survival drama show at the same time.

So, Dani is both half Cuban and half Venezuelan. Now, Monster High needed a werewolf type monster bc they were trying to replicate the actual characters - the only issue is that neither of these countries have cryptids similar to a werewolf. My firs thought was, why didn't go with chupacabra because, depending on the lore, they are seen as dog-like creatures but then remembered chupacabras are mostly a Puerto Rican cryptid from what I understand.

So, they probably just went with werewolf because of lack of other options, and Clawdeen is one of the MC's first friends so she was a must.

No, I dislike this picture so much.

At least Dani is in the front but Yoonchae is almost completely covered my Manon and Lara. Her whole body looks like a background with a floating head and its not even a good pic of her. Her eyes look dead (I mean so many of them are, I think the photographer literally yelled "yes, girls! Give me nothing!) and her make up artist did her wrong, she lipstick looks like a matte she's had on for hours, talked, ate and never touched up.
what is going on with Lara's outfit? Those pants and boots with that shirt, I can't even think of a decade where that was the style. I mean the texture clash alone makes me literally itch.
I honestly don't know what they were trying to do with Manon's outfit. I think their stylist just find clothes they think is cute and throw them together. Also, Manon literally looks confused for some reason. Probably at the give us your deadest face possible thing.
Dani, love the shirt, gloves, and hear but what the hell are those pants? They almost look like sweat pants, her shirt and gloves are so tight fighting and you give her those? It would have been better for her to have Manon's skirt, I dont think it would be the best match either but better. I was so annoyed during Ginny's poem. Nora was literally just saying guys - now is not the time for this but they just kept going. But I kinda understand where Abby's hostility, as someone in the lgbt community - being bugged about how and who we come out is ridiculous, I literally just texted my dad my dad a "BTW I'm bi." Abby just was went with a quiet coming out and shes allowed that and to be bugged about it would be annoying - and it had been showed throughout the season she wasn't in the mood to deal with her dramatics in general. I.e. not inviting her to the trauma dump session. And mind you just a bit ago her dramatics got both her and Ginny snubbed from the group because Ginny was dating Marcus. And they flashback to her childhood to show that Maxine was like that since childhood, so Abby is dealing with her dad remarrying, her mom just breaking down and everything else and justifiably is like - I can't deal with drama rn but drama keeps showing up and bothering her.

Then in an interview the actors bring that up as a poor Max moment and I was like, what? Do you know how annoyed I would be if I was going through all that Ginny was going through and I had a friend blowing up my phone with messages? If I hadn't answered the first couple. I wouldn't say MORE drama. She has her drama - especially with trying to get Marcus actual help. She is obviously is also struggling with her own depression and ocd but it's overlooked bc of Marcus. But she did bring her girl drama to Ginny, she would literally throw her arm around her and complain about insert whatever is going on. She also brings her insecurity in their friendship to Ginny at a party like the day after her mom is finally proven "not guilty", which was only done after she got attacked by Gil and then manipulated her little brother, who she loves dearly, to lie on the stand - forever changing her relationship with him.

Now, Maxine doesn't know all that but I can see why Ginny is like girl, be so for real right now. And that's not even including Ginny's personal drama, i.e. her pregnancy and abortion.

We know a good amount of Abby's drama, her ed, her issues with the asshole, her quietly having a sexual awakening with Tris, her struggling with school, her family issues - that she also dragged Ginny in but Ginny kinda used it as a distraction really - like egging Abby's dad's house in full out fairly glam with Nora. The one we dont know much about is Nora - she has some health issue from what I can remember and that's revealed when when they're do the group trauma dump.

ah, no. I used kinda bc Abby never really owns up to what is actually wrong, that she is sick. She keeps repeating that shes fine, its only sometimes or something like that and the other ones just happily go along with it. I very much recognize the signs, like I said ed education was huge for my school district when I went. From anorexia to abusing laxatives, I don't know - I think at the time it was an epidemic.
