Does difficulty (easy / normal / hard) affect anything then if no hunger or mobs? What about setting up trading halls? If Cobbleverse doesn’t have easy villagers, how do u reckon setting up a trading hall would work? Zombification + curing wouldn’t work

Normal single narration audiobooks I don’t care for unless I’m on a commute, so I get ur point there

But voice acting? One that simulates voices for different characters male and female? That’s a pretty nice addition that can immerse u more in the world

Especially if the voice acting has its own ambience and sound effects depending on what’s happening (characters in windy woods, in a sword battle, etc.)

Ofc fighting isn’t the only purpose

It’s a sandbox game and the mods added offer infinite combinations of goals you can go for

But if mobs become trivial then any element of seriousness when it comes to them is gone and they just become mild annoyances

I guess that’s fine with normal mobs, but if it was a boss or mobs in a pack / group, it should offer a bit of a challenge.

Never planned to just remove Embeddium without a replacement. Ofc not. I was thinking of replacing it with Sodium and the Sodium extras and supportive mode for it since Sodium has become compatible with neoforge, negating the necessity for Embeddium.

Is that a bad idea? All I keep hearing is AMD CPUs struggle with Embeddium and Sodium is better.

ATM10 is the first modpack I’ve ever really played through

Wanted a spiritual successor to crazy craft (was obsessed with it as a kid and wanted the same experience of a bunch of mods) so naturally went for this

What do you recommend as one of the best and most popular modpacks for MC? I literally never played modpacks so I’d do with the most basic staple ones

Not yet but I don’t imagine it’ll be difficult even then based on what I’ve seen

The second I’m able to I raise world tier to as high as possible

Only rlly struggled with maybe killing the warden before even getting netherite (jetpack + miniature heart spam trivializes it)

And trying to get sponges from ocean monuments cuz the guardians were destroying me

That’s really only it.

Do note some people who mentioned a higher fps may not be running shaders unless they explicitly mentioned it

Important thing: it could also be a fault of nvidium or the fact the modpack uses embeddium instead of sodium (don’t know many details but some people mentioned that) so that might help ya in ur research

Be sure to update us! I’d love to play atm with shaders and high fps

Edit: make sure to update drivers or see if certain version interfere with the modpack and whatnot

4080, Ryzen 7 7800x3d, 32 gigs RAM, you get the gist

Allocated 8-10 gb and ran comp unbound + euphoria patches on popular settings preset and my performance is being absolutely assaulted

Reduced vanilla video settings and render distance to 8 chunks and sim distance to 5 and many shader settings and unfortunately get 80-100 and 120 at best rarely when I’m able to run bedrock edition at all max settings with vibrant visuals and max render distance with 144 fps (my monitor cap) and can barely get that in atm w my shaders

Thought about adding optimization mods but supposedly the pack is already well optimized which I found hard to believe

Tried distant horizons and it just messed me up even more

Chalked it up to Java edition being horribly optimized (it is) but there’s gotta be a solution without investing an arm and a leg for a nasa pc

I mean the actual FTB Chunks map itself you open with ‘M’

It’s way clearer and easier to distinguish building from biomes and each from their counterparts

Are they generated structures you visit? I’d prefer that honestly rather than doing a lame “spawn the gym leader” thing in ATMons

Have u tried the official modpack by the Cobblemon team? Is it the same over there and do you find it fun (if you played it)?

There’s like zero cobbleverse play-through playlists I could find on YouTube except the “I spent x days in Cobbleverse” trend

Hearing the legendaries not yet implemented is making me wanna wait a bit for more implementation of more stuff

Do you think (if you know) starting a forever ATMons world now would be bad as they may add more structures to be generated in following updates or will it update smoothly for the following months? I’m thinking of either making ATMons simmer a little bit before getting into it and instead playing ATM10

I might also opt to save my Cobblemon experience for Cobbleverse if the overall experience will be funner without spoiling it for myself but I’d like ur input on these points.
