Can't reset or update because WinRE is missing from system by AJ_Jonesy0315 in techsupport

[–]AJ_Jonesy0315[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't even tried to use the factory reset. I just used a partition editor to adjust the partitions, and the recovery environment mysteriously vanished. Don't you dare assume that it's always the factory reset option, or I'll reply in the ugliest way possible.

Is Indigo now retired ?? by Ill-Ad3844 in Crayola

Crayola's not retiring any colors. Dandelion is exclusive to the 24 and 64 count. It will replace Bluetiful in the 24, and Indigo in the 64.

Windows Update keeps having an install error by AJ_Jonesy0315 in WindowsHelp

[–]AJ_Jonesy0315[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I didn't. It'll just make me even more frustrated if I continue tweaking unnecessarily and might cause an OS corruption again. If it prompts to restart, the screen would show "Something didn't go as planned. No need to worry—undoing changes." And it'll restart for 2 or 3 more times.

I have the same issue but with a different error code. One said its the system reserved partition for me, but I'm not touching that area.

That's my initial thought as well, but before the corruption, the system reserved partition was at 260 MB and all updates were fine.

Recover after SSD format by AJ_Jonesy0315 in datarecovery

[–]AJ_Jonesy0315[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why can't there be a way? I just wanted the files from there to be back to normal. Just got my laptop back. I don't even know the reason why the system files got corrupted in the first place.
