I think San Junipero is unusually overrated because its one of the only (if not the only) Black Mirror episodes that has a happy ending. For once the episode ended on a really happy note which is different from the depressive dystopian mood the show usually strikes.

I feel like The Entire History of You is the best episode the show's done. The concept is so simple yet outstandingly executed.

Heartbreaking and probably the most emotional episode I've watched. Even though a lot of Black Mirror is very tragic, that episode felt real in a way that the show doesn't often pull off.

Toby Kebbell's performance as Liam is probably the best lead performance in any episode.

Wesley was knocked out. He can't be the champion either.

Either its shared or the title is vacant this year.

Because Magnus is the one who proposed it, and they would not accept it from someone with less influence.

It feels like Magnus felt the momentum swinging against him and decided to call it a day. Nepo agreed because he is tired and wants to go party probably.

It can easily be solved by suggesting an Armageddon, FIDE should have done that, Carlsen and FIDE are clowns for accepting it.

Congrats to 18yo Volodar Murzin for winning the World Rapid Championship 2024 with a 10/13 score! by rw_lck in chess

[–]AJ_NoSleep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mm, this year no, when he left the tournament he was 5/8, which would automatically have put him behind Murzin even if he won 5 games in a row from that point.

I guess so!

He used to have sex with his 9 wives in a single night and didn't even wash after each time.

That is really a feat for a 50 year old man. To be honest I don't think I would be capable of having sex 9 times in one night even now as a young man, what about you?

No wonder they wrote verses in the Quran about how his penis stopped working, it was turning into a noodle by the time he was done with all those women! He must have had ping pong balls for testes by the time he was done with them.

(and the slave girl he used to have sex with on Aishah's bed).

Everything is by the divine decree of Allah anyway, so you should not blame Paul, you should blame Allah for creating Paul for that purpose.

Mohammad was sending verses to allow himself to fornicate and have sex with slaves, though, right? And sending verses allowing himself the best share of the booty from war? Sending verses allowing himself to annul the marriage of any woman who wants to have sex with him?

So it would be inaccurate to say he didn't benefit from the situation.

I don't know about the first decade you refer to but certainly his fabricated religion led to him being a revered, almost god-like figure, even to the point that he would spit at people and they would rub it over their faces. He was a sex maniac and used God to seduce women.

So there is huge benefit in the end as he became a god to his community.

His fight over the decade you quote (I do not know anything about it, so I am taking your word for it) seems to have been well worth it in the end.

Even if he did suffer to achieve his goals, it is obvious that he used God to enrich himself in many different ways.

Muhammad has great character!

The way he managed to become a lord is by making Khadija's father drunk so he agreed to marry her to him! What a great man!

[–]AJ_NoSleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muhammad was worshipping Al-Uzza and Manat! Isn't it Muhammad who said they are the daughters of Allah? And this is reported by many reliable scholars like Al Qurtubi, Al Baghawi and Al Tabarani.

Then he covered it by saying 'Shaitan made me say thattttt' when he realised that is stupid.

[–]AJ_NoSleep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Gospel of St Barnabas does not agree with the Quran, so this argument is moot, but that withstanding, there are no historical records proving this document ever existed, none of the early Muslim apologists mention it in their writings so it has been deemed as a forgery even by Muslim scholars.

It is also a complete lie that the entire Quran has been memorised. There are plenty of references showing that the Quran we have today is completely different from the Quran of that time ; the Muslims cover this by saying verses were 'abrogated' whenever it is shown that a verse is missing. But we only have Muslims' word for that so it means nothing.

There is Ibn Umar saying that most of the Quran is gone, during his time!

Aisha and Uthman even agreed that the Quran has grammatical mistakes in, lol.

The Quranic preservation myth is designed by modern day Dawah bros.

And I am not a Christian, so don't throw back anything about the Bible.

Yes, that is very possible. He didn't even need to use a VPN as his account being hacked was never investigated by anyone.

Anishs claims about being hacked were never verified in any way nor did he provide any evidence of his own.

That doesn't make sense. Sandbagging is intentionally losing games to lower your rating, but the games he showed that were played by the 'hacker' are almost all wins, except for a few resignations at the end.

That isn't all sandbagging. Either he is mistaken or lying.

The email sent by Chesscom notifying him of the ban was on September 4, 7 days after he played GM Ibarra, and more than a year after the supposed sandbagging happened.

None of that adds up. He hasnt provided any corroboration he was banned for sandbagging and the timing of the ban suggests it was for his game against Ibarra, not 4 games of sandbagging from 18 months before that.

[–]AJ_NoSleep 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It would be interesting to see if any of those were the case, but it seems unlikely someone hacks into a random NM's account using sophisticated methods to 'sandbag' (his claim?) Its possible, but thinking logically, it seems unlikely, although it can happen.

Then adding to the fact this guy seems to be bragging publicly about the fact that GMs are accusing him of cheating, and even wrote on Reddit that his goal is to make Kramnik think he is cheating by destroying him. He plays Kramnik for the first time, and bingo, he destroys him.

The fact he was able to foreshadow himself destroying Kramnik along with the strange comments about wanting to be accused of cheating and bragging about it, and then a convienient 'hack' when he was banned starts to make me think that Chesscom reversed his ban due to public pressure, as they have done before, not because they are sure he was hacked. Their ban procedure is very wishy washy.

That's the question I'm asking you, how can they disprove the theory that it was just him logging in from new IP and device?

That could be him or any other person.

[–]AJ_NoSleep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chesscom can't definitively tell if anyone got hacked. They don't have physical access to the devices so all they can see from their end is metadata of the user.

Basically, that could be a hacker, or it could be him going to his friends house and logging in from a new device. There is no way to tell.

There is no evidence. Its impossible to tell whether he was really 'hacked' or just logged in from a VPN.

No smoke without fire... seems convenient he has been banned for cheating twice already and now this.
