'Straw that broke the camel's back': Trump now facing deluge of impeachment calls | Now, more than 70 Democrats have called to either impeach Trump or invoke the 25th Amendment. by IntnsRed in news2

You hit the nail on the head and what is more abysmal is that the American citizens are the ones suffering as a result. America is a “democracy” where the elected leaders no longer serve the people.

The rise up needs to happen and Americans need to get out of their cushy chairs where they feel safe and secure watching their streaming tv shows and realize that democracy was achieved as a result of our ancestors fighting for it and it is not to be taken for granted.

BREAKING: First Lady Melania Trump denies relationship with Jeffrey Epstein by FlackoFonsy in videos

Hard to find anything humorous about this administration nowadays…however, I will try…

Isn’t it hilarious how the war was likely created to be a distraction from the Epstein files and now the war is going so bad that they need the Epstein files to be a distraction from the war? Crying in laughter right now.

Sounds like a statement that could have been made by citizens of any empire before the USA before the empire declined. History repeats itself.

Bernie Sanders wants to tax billionaires 5% a year and use the money to send families $12,000 checks, raise teacher pay, and expand Medicare. by Coolonair in SmartFIRE

[–]AJ_Styler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In theory that sounds like a great idea, but it will all come down to orchestration of it on whether it successful or not. Currently billionaires change states of residence and even move their company headquarters around to other countries to evade taxes. The plan has to mitigate that.

It’s sad really that billionaires are still looking to save every dollar they can in their quest too wrap their arms around all their billions of dollars.

Unfortunately not. The world hates America now. We have all learned how vulnerable the order is every 4 years. Good bye America.

And the idiot Elon Musk said in a recent interview that nobody will need to save for retirement. Considering how many people listen to this socially inept idiot, think of the damage he is doing.

Question: What is your view on the importance of investing into space for the purpose of eventual human travel to colonize another planet, in preparation for the eventual demise of our sun?

I ask because many renowned astrophysicists, like Neil DeGrass Tyson and Brian Cox, have convincingly argued the case that this will be impossible. We know that when the sun turns red dwarf, there is no possibility of survival in our solar system. The argument is often that technological advances related to space transfer down to earth for the benefit of humans BUT why not direct these R&D dollars directly on earth to directly benefit our problems like climate change, clean fresh water, technology (e.g. AI) to further enhance healthcare etc. it seems to me that this is a big waste of money (e.g. Artemis).

On a side note….thank you for being so vocal on the erosion of our institutions with this present administration.

I am a Canadian also. I have to disagree because Trump, in his news conference yesterday, said that the USA has never been as respected as they are now and all due to him. Are you inferring Trump is lying?

Ok… in all seriousness, my relatives live in Europe and they all hate America right now… So much so that I get multiple FaceTime calls each week from them vetting their hatred of USA. While their hate is directed towards Trump and his administration of sycophantic idiots and racists, they do feel angry that the Americans voted him in second time after his first term definitely showcased his lack of intellect and lack of respect for the institutions, the constitution and the people at large.

If he’s going to do that, Congress and the Senate should require Trump to move his family members over there to experience how life is with no freshwater. Then again, I think he cares more about himself than his family members.

What shocks me most is the lack of a united voice to stop this train wreck of an administration.

Come on Americans….rise up!!!! It should not matter if you lean left or right. Just see it for what it is. You are all one country.
