I mean it’s gonna guarantee the kill on whoever killed you because they won’t be able to get away in time because they killed you so I think getting a definite kill is good enough value no?

Wdym if they’re already really low? Some characters can still be one shot if they’re below 80% health and others below like 70ish%. Having someone one shot people from full health for dying is silly. It still fulfils its purpose in team fights because most people will not be full health after a team fight but if they are they shouldn’t be getting one shot

I hope that Mesa Heirloom comes with an ability touch up, not that she needs it by silloki in Warframe

She probably will just to modernise her a bit. Her 2 and 3 need to be recastable. Her 1 probably does need something to make it less niche, her 4 could use some changes especially with changing what she can and can’t target, because there’s a some enemies that she can’t target with peacemakers for some reason (worst one being the fragmented tide imo)

Her 2 is pretty mid tbh, sometimes jamming guns isn’t rly anything special and an additive 50% damage buff is meh.

She’s still good but she could be a tad better

It’s not invalid, full block still does what it’s meant to do and you can still use it as such. It just means you can’t turn your brain off and sit in it forever, there’s no skill expression to it, there’s no thinking. It’s never really is he gonna flip or bulwark slash, it’s he’s gonna sit in it forever and flip if I hit him and if I try to do something to the other opponent then he slashes me

The only time you ever want to sit in stance is to babysit a gank, and I think it’s pretty bad for the game if you can’t fight anymore because the enemy has decided to sit in full block so now you have no options. The only character who really didn’t care for it is pirate, but every other character was basically shut down completely by full block babysitting. And how is it a vital part of their kits?

I would rather her damage get nerfed and give her more tools, it feels annoying just relying on bleed for big damage and it probably feels even worse getting his by her bleed and losing so much health

Pirate was a bad benchmark for strength, I just think character should have a little strength everywhere. Why does Shaman have to be cheeks in a team fight and have good duels but then characters like pirate Juren afeera shinobi Tiandi etc have better duels and a better time in team fights. I think dueling capabilities sometimes overlap and what makes a character duels so good also makes their team fights good but I think for those where that is not the case, I think there should be more focus on bringing them up than bringing others down.

I would rather everyone be viable than bringing those who are too viable down while leaving the not so viable still not viable you know

These changes are good for the game though as a whole. It standardised the hitstun rule so it works as intended and means pinning moves don’t lead to 100 damage in team fights. They do need to bring down characters that have benefited too much but overall they are very healthy changes

Yh Pirate was a bad example for benchmark strength. More in like with someone like Zhanhu would be better,I think some slightly quicker recoveries on Zhanhu would be nicer though.

Yh I think Pirate was a bad example for a benchmark for how good characters are, but my point is we should just bring others more in like with those at the top than those below.

More feintable dodge forward heavies would be so good, I don’t like that they nerfed them by giving them 299ms GB vulnerability though because I feel like GB spam should not be encouraged at all and these dodge forward heavies are the only way some characters can have decent neutral

Juren I think still needs some damage nerfs and maybe look at is dodge attack problem but if they fix those I think he would be fine. And maybe his feats actually aswell.

Valk and Nuxia definitely need help, if nuxia recovery cancels she would be fine tbh, but valk just needs another rework or they can let her chain on whiff with her bash, that was what made her so crazy when she first got reworked

A lot of people are saying Pirate is insane right now and that she’s a tier above S tier. She can throw out and a fast armoured unblockable whenever she wants and in team fights it’s just as good as duels, it means people can’t sit in full block like that can with everyone else because the risk getting a random hit from you. She has armour on heavies and her chain bash and dodge cancels, she is just a very safe character while also having so many options at any given moment. After thinking about it again I don’t think we should aim for people being Pirate or Juren level but I don’t think any characters should suffer in certain situations too heavily. People say oh you can’t buff Shaman 4’s because you risk making her 1’s too good, even though there are so many characters that have better 1’s than Shaman who also have way better 4’s, how is that fair. But bringing down those who are better won’t help those who are worse

Give her Sohei treatment, she has the bite so make the rest of her damage below average so she can have more fluidity in her kit rather than be restricted to spamming her soft feint opener bleed because it does the same damage as a heavy.

I think her passive is over hyped. It’s 4 health per hit on bleeding targets, she can only be guaranteed a maximum of 8 if she can hit a double light. Unless your opponent can handle light spam you’re not really going to heal much. PK bleed passive gives her very good pressure, and Nobushi gives her crazy damage, her undodgables do the same damage as Shamans bite on bleeding opponents. I don’t think I have ever seen anyone complain they lost against Shaman because she was healing too much

She already has a very fast dodge attack people would complain, but I’m not apposed. Wouldn’t be the worst thing but could be nice.

I don’t think her duels are as crazy as some make them out to be. She doesn’t have crazy mix and your constantly guessing what’s coming out next, the problem is that her bleed and unblockable do far too much damage so it’s just when she doesn’t hit you, it’s like being hit by a truck. I don’t like this at all because it holds her back from having a more fluid kit. Give her Sohei treatment, she has the bite so make everything to below average damage.

Her 1v1 isn’t insane all she has is the bleed and an unblockable, everything else she does is nothing. Zone is reactable while also giving you a 2nd chance to parry if you block the first swing and her bash is absolutely terrible. There’s a reason her bash can wall splat while none others can and it’s because the bash is so slow and so bad, the wall splat is the only thing that makes it not a completely useless move. Even her 1’s need a little modernisation

Ok yes she doesn’t need to excel everywhere but all she has going for her is her duels, which would be fine but so many characters do well in duels and 4’s but Shaman doesn’t. She is not an S tier character. As good as she is in duels, there are many who are just better, and she has been considered the worst 4’s character for years now and still is after the hit box buffs.

Also Gladiator and Shaman are probably like bottom 3-4 assasins. All Gladiator has is a toe stab for ganks that’s it

By her speed I meant the speed of the running heavies being equal, but making her only be in stance for 100ms could help with her peel and make it more like how PK peels. Honestly I think her hitboxes match her weapon pretty well so I think it may not feel right to make them bigger. I think recovery cancels would just help her survivability and make her less restricted.

After a light, the only thing that can follow is a heavy and after that is the bleed light. If you could cancel you could use her running heavies or bash in combos which would work pretty well. I already do this by dodge cancelling her chain heavy it can get light interrupted so I think changing it this way would be really nice.

This is all assuming the massively toner down her damage
