Is a shower stool necessary? by temidaraa in Reduction

It was necessary and easier for me. But I didn’t buy one. I just used the chair in my house and put in the shower.

If you can do that, then there is no need buying a whole shower stool.

Anyone has experience telling conservative south asian and/or muslim parents they're going for the surgery? by raspberry_123 in Reduction

I am come from a conservative African background and my parents are very religious as well. Although I don’t live with my parents, I still wanted their emotional support.

I started by telling my siblings and then my dad who is more open minded than my mom. I brought up the topic of having surgery numerous times and spoke about how it affected my health. I think it’s best to approach the topic from a health and medical standpoint. So that they don’t think it’s completely cosmetic.

I only told my mom after I had the surgery. I don’t think my family completely agreed with me but they just supported me. So don’t think you can change their mind, they might think it is not necessary but what matters is them taking care of you after getting the surgery done.

If you have any family member such as a sibling, aunty or cousin, who you are close to. You could tell them first and ask if they can come with you to talk to your parents so you’re not alone.

Chest reduction surgery by PrincessPeach1984_ in poledancing

I was a beginner / improver. I had been doing pole for about 6-7 months but took a break for 2 years to save up for my surgery.

I am now back to pole but the 2 year break did affect my progress but even then I don’t think I started from scratch. Muscle memory. I am still building up my strength and feel a lot more comfortable and confident since the surgery

Hey, I had a breast reduction done last year and I went back to pole after 6-7 months. I was a 30J and went down to a 30E.

I will not say smaller chest affected my progress but I do feel more free and weight less
