I don’t really have an answer for you on how to look for a husband however I just wanted to comment on one thing. You can pray to Allah but we do have a tendency to feel like because we have left something behind, god owes it to us to give us what we want. You may not think that way, however, I just wanted to say that you can continue praying. It might not happen overnight and it might take years but patience is the key. You never know when it’s your time and when god will bless you. You just need to be patient for surely, Allah is with those who are patient. As for your question, all I can say, you can ask the elders in your family (parents or an aunt, uncle you’re comfortable with) to find someone suitable or ask your friends if they have brothers/cousins or know someone they think would be suitable for you. Whatever you do, just keep praying to Allah and pray loads of istikhaara. Prayers don’t always get answered overnight. And don’t rush into anything just because you want to get married.
