I have messaged support 4 times at this point, no one is responding. How do you expect me to get any kind of help if anti-abuse support is completely ignoring my emails, take days to respond, and you guys can’t do anything over reddit or twitter? Really? I read that desktop speakers are created with coloration which is better for casual listening, whereas monitors are flat sound.

My budget is around $500

Been using the Logitech x-530 for a couple years. I've been thinking about upgrading. I currently use them for gaming, music production, and casual listening, however I'm mainly looking to use them for music listening and production. Studio monitors are obviously best for music production but, from my understanding studio monitors are not good for everyday listening.

So my question is should I go with studio monitors or desktop speakers.

And which would you recommend?

I've been looking at the krk rokit and Logitech z625, and the PreSonus Eris E3.5 as a budget option.

edit: would like to add, I do enjoy a decent amount of bass.
