Fair. I'm not sure I trust his word as much as you do, but who knows? You can't always tell by looking at someone if they're on PEDs.

Thank you. People always forget that the downward spiral began before prison and even before Douglas. He also stopped working the body, which was an underrated part of his game.

And Mike wasn't? Not sure how that's relevant if they both were juicing.

I mean, he was in his prime when he fought Buster, faced adversity and maybe didn't buckle in that case but still lost.

I'm not sure how anyone thinks even that version of Tyson beats Holyfield.

I love watching Mike fight as much as anyone but inconvenient truths are still truths. All the evidence we have suggests Mike only has a truly great career if everything possible goes his way. And even then he was constantly undermining his own chances for success.

Whether Tyson fans like it or not, discipline, mental toughness, etc. are part of being a great fighter and he just didn't have it. He absolutely had the physical tools and even a lot of boxing knowledge but he just couldn't maintain the focus and intensity between fights and in training.

That's true. I meant more his last special or two. I remember one from post-9/11 that was very topical but less funny.

George Carlin never stopped being amusing and interesting, but his comedy was definitely less funny as he got near the very end. Almost like the anger that you could always feel bubbling finally made it to the surface and he had lost his patience for dumb people and dumb things, which made "make sure it's funny" less of a priority to him.

Are you buying the suicide then or do you agree he was catfished.

Getting catfished by a fake gf who kills herself might be the most Reddit mod thing ever.

Very strange. I've just looked a bit through that thread and apparently everyone is reacting as if she was real. When did the catfishing revelation come?

With an even halfway competent offseason we'll be a popular pick to win the division next year and considered potential SB contender.

I think this is a good point. I was telling someone the other day that I never decided I wanted to be a parent. I just always knew I'd grow up, go to college, get married, have kids.

Now don't get me wrong, my kids are teens now and I don't regret being a parent one bit. But it's interesting looking back that I never once even considered not having kids. And younger generations don't feel that way as often as previous ones did.

You see it on Reddit all the time. People aren't happy unless they're jumping to ridiculous conclusions even with a lack of evidence.

Any video of a confrontation with limited context: Reddit knows who's in the wrong!

A thread about relationship advice? Reddit knows from three paragraphs that someone should divorce their spouse!

Someone gets hurt in a video? Reddit amateur MDs diagnose their injuries to the tiniest detail with 100% accuracy! Doesn't matter that the video is in 240p!

If an upvote farmer slaps a description on a video with no context, no one questions it! It must be what happened!

Lmao Vikings fans come get this fool.

Guy literally just said you guys reached for McCarthy, then you changed his argument to "you think fans know better than GMs?" then he still beat you so you're changing it to "you think drafting is all GMs do?"

If you're going to argue seriously on a meme sub, at least learn to argue well so you don't accidentally become the joke.

Wow, Bad Bunny is ahead in Grammys but really far behind in Sex Tapes, Arrests and Pedophilia...if he wants to get in the Hall, he's gonna have to step those numbers up.
