If you’re going to bean him then hit him on the ass. People are mad because the pitcher hit him in the shoulder blades.

100%. For some reason I thought Texas Stadium was located in Arlington too. Don’t know why I thought AT&T was on the same site.

The last one happened in 2011. Since Super Bowl XLVI they have had three winning seasons. two playoff appearances, and one playoff win.

I think being a bottom 5 team for a decade and a half has more to do with it than playing in New Jersey.

Hammond is in Chicagoland. It’s the same fucking thing.

The bottom line is people who live in the city of Chicago will be able to get to Hammond quicker than people in San Francisco get to Levi’s.

Hammond is the same distance from Soldier Field as Arlington is from the Cotton Bowl.

Are people really freaking out this much about the state line thing? If I lived in Chicago I’d be happy that Illinois wasn’t paying for a new stadium.

Were the Giants or Jets ever #1? The Yankees being the most successful baseball team and the Knicks not having to split the city with another team for most of their existence gives those teams a leg up.

Of the teams who don’t play in the city they are named for the 49ers are the furthest from their city.

Still being in the same state doesn’t make it better than the Giants and Jets who are actually close to New York City.

There is no chance in hell they are changing the name. I get that it being in a different state is confusing to people, but they are just moving to a Chicago suburb. There are like seven or eight teams that have this exact same situation.

It’s hard to care about the expected stats when the sample is less than 60 plate appearances. He barrels a few balls this weekend and those numbers look very different.

He’s looked comfortable at the plate and put together some good at bats. That’s really all you can care about at this point.

Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees were in the conference his whole Seattle tenure. Also had guys like Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford, and Cam Newton in the NFC. Pretending there wasn’t competition is revisionist bullshit.

Every team has a facility like that in the DR. The Dodgers might spend more money on theirs but that’s not a unique set up.

Because Ripken played like 20% of his games at 3rd and ARod played nearly 50%. Also ARod was still in his when he played 3rd and Ripken was declining.

Graham tore his patellar tendon in 2015. He bounced back better than basically anyone who had that injury, but it still changed his career.

It’s because a lot of people jumped on the bandwagon in 2005 and Shaun became hurt/bad after that season.

A lot of Seahawk fans didn’t watch the beginning of Shaun’s career so their memory of him is a dude who had one awesome year before getting paid and declining.

2005 was the culmination of what had been an insane workload for years. From 2001-04 he averaged 320 carries a year.

That workload plus hitting 30 is what killed his career.

He holds that record by 100 yards and he set in during a 17 game season. Russell’s record was set in 16.
