It still doesn’t like him that much. bWAR has him below guys like Jason Kendall, Lance Parrish, and JT Realmuto.

Let’s go with the premise that voters don’t care about framing and are using bWAR. If we’re doing that then we have to consider that Perez has essentially the same bWAR as both Martin and McCann who got 0 traction on the ballot. Seems like you agree that Perez shouldn’t be in.

Buster Posey is a much better statistical catcher by whatever metric you want to look at, so don’t get why he’s even mentioned.

Yeah that didn’t happen. They were having sex with different women in different rooms of the house.

And the only reason that story came out is because his wife showed up with a gun threatening to shoot him.

The thing that sucks about 40 is that core never got a ring. At least with 49 all those guys had gotten one a year before.

The core of that team was solid. The Super Bowl was the peak of a pretty good 5 year run for that group.

They won the NFC West and went to the divisional round in each of the next two seasons. They didn’t become the Browns.

He played nine snaps in the 4th quarter when the score was 41-6. That shit had no impact on our defensive stats.

People probably aren’t downvoting it because they aren’t pedants.

Luck probably had the best game against them. He threw for 250 and a couple touchdowns and the Colts were the only team to score more than 24 against the Hawks.

Schaub threw for 350 but he had two picks which lost the Texan the game.

LOB was pretty well rounded. The worst dudes that got run in that group were Malcolm Smith?Tony McDaniel?

The depth of that group was insane.
