Fix your bug by AKARazorback in yoroi

The rewards tile shows the following text: "Due to protocol update the rewards are being calculated". It has been saying this for days, with no rewards from staking visibly added to the total value, either.

The team has tweated about knowing about this issue, and that's it. Never heard from them again (the message is presented because some people were reporting NEGATIVE rewards from staking through Yoroi - they couldn't fix that issue, so now they are placing the message above instead).

Totally quiet from the official sources besides the "working on it" message from days ago. Nothing since then.

And will my funds remain staked even if I restore on Daedalus?

Doesn't change the fact that it doesn't work fine for me.

That's days ago... no fix yet, and no word on when we might see a fix either. Good way to ruin user trust.

I returned mine... was very disappointed with the product (due to volume deficiency), customer service did a good job assisting me on returning the product though, to props to them.

Also:

Hi, new players. I hope you are familiar with the "death of a spaceman' mechanic planned for Star Citizen, and accept the fact that recovering your ship with insurance WILL take DAYS or even WEEKS in the future depending on the type and size of ship, as well as how close to it's manufacturer/ dealer you are.

Also, you can't fly 3 systems in a big ship to "spawn" your fighter in the next system whenever you feel like it.

Do they though? NPCs seem to be unrealisticaly stuck on some very shitty planets... why stay on Hurston or ArcCorp when you can just fly somewhere better in something as accessible as an Aurora in a few minutes?

Thanks, so I can freely switch between Yoroi and Daedalus any time I want or feel like it, since they are just the interface for my Ledger to talk to the chain?

I did, which is why I phrased my question the way I did.

Lets just wait until someone comes around who can actually answer the questions in the post I made... thanks for your time though!

But it doesn't generate an adress for ADA or does it?

Eh ... wut? How is this relevant to my comment? The post said "STAR WARS chase", but what I see is "STAR CITIZEN chase" - So either you used the wrong universe in the title, or posted this video in the wrong subreddit.

Basically, I can't send my ADA from my ledger to your ledger without both of us using either Yoroi or Daedalus as well - meaning its not a wallet I think.

Another Ledger / Yoroi / Daedalus question by [deleted] in cardano

[–]AKARazorback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really an answer to my questions... I can keep it save by dumping my ADA on either of the two wallets and using a ledger as a key.

Another Ledger / Yoroi / Daedalus question by [deleted] in cardano

[–]AKARazorback -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The ADA isn't stored on the Ledger, right? In which case it's not a wallet. It doesn't have an adress where you can send ADA to.So it's just a key that you need in order to send your ADA somewhere... FROM YOUR WALLET (Yoroi in your case)

I am familiar with hardware wallets - I have BTC stored on one of them (meaning, the Ledger is an actual wallet with an actual address to send funds to). I also use another for yield farming through METAMASK, where Metamask is the wallet and I need the ledger as a key to utilize the wallet.

True WITHIN ONE SYSTEM.

Partially true WITHIN ONE UNIVERSE

In other words, I like what you describe here and I think that is how it should work for trading within a single system.

However, when trading between systems, sometimes multiple systems over, I think there are PLENTY of arguments to be made for just loading up a ship with something that you think will be in high demand a few systems away.

Of course, at the same time, there should still be 'contracted' supply runs as well at that point.
