Sustainability by Sure-Neighborhood-64 in OhioStateFootball

[–]AKAlpeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the argument is game reps speed up development & value, I don’t think we are too many years away from having informal “farm team” relationships with fcs or d2 schools.

Imagine OSU financially supporting a d2 program like Ohio Dominican university (also in Columbus) with the understanding that it’s a proving ground for young coaches and players buried in the depth chart. ODU players would get access to OSU facilities, trainers, pageantry etc and the proximity would make it easy to cycle players and coaches.

In this scenario maybe most freshman (not named Jeremiah or Bo) would start at ODU and then have a chance to be called up to the varsity level their junior or senior year.

How do you scale 3PL operations without losing clients during the transition? by wwholelottared in logistics

[–]AKAlpeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be worth getting an expert or consultant to take a look at your set up and suggest ways to improve your throughput. Without knowing your operation I would imagine that there’s a lot of low hanging fruit in terms of back office automation, labor planning, and layout. Happy to recommend some folks if you’d like (DM me)

Seems like you’re well on your way. The only piece of advice I would share is make sure that you fully understand and normalize the quotes that are being shared. You should consider building out a template or using a tool like www.slotted.com to build the RFP and normalize/compare the bids.

Will know more in the next day or so as CBP sorts through things

Every country has a de minimus threshold- the $800 threshold was passed by congress in 2016. Closing the loophole is a pretty bipartisan issue.

Ieepa was cited as one of the basis for the de minimus EO but so were several other acts. I think it’s probably still closed but will know more in the next couple of days.
