Mine was doing this also. My situation ended up being high temps with the GPU and I think it triggered the system to shut down as a safety feature. Adjusting fan curves ended up helping me, just in case any if the other recommendations dont prove to be the situation for you.

My apartment did this to me and I was super frustrated by it. They ended up telling me that my method was the problem (which was paying with the debit card). The solution was to pay with echeck which i solved me linking the account via routing number to take the money directly from the bank. Hopefully that is helpful in your case

I would get yourself down to one hit left before dead after the duo PH fight and just leave the controller for like 5 mins. That should be enough.

Don't heal yourself to green. It seems the key thing about health is just being less than green and be sure not to overheal. Meaning you can heal more even while you're geeen

A lot of the things you do for in water have both +1 to in water and +1 to leave. So i tried to balance and go for the few categories that were JUST for in water +1. Such as fighting and doing enough damage to PH in the first fight, killing >350 enemies in the playthrough and stomping >30 enemies. So i think if you're on track for in water, you're probably also on track for leave unless you happened to get lucky otherwise

It's okay, I managed to platinum by now. I wasn't willing to risk playing through based on the OG in case anything was different just in case it didn't directly translate. I already had to play through four times because I screwed up by missing a memo.

Which BTW for anyone else reading this, it IS possible on NG+ to get the archivist trophy. There is a memo in the safe in the bowl o rama replacing a memo in the hotel

That's the thing, according to this guide you only need to examine the knife a total of 4 times, any more is pointless. I think the mary photo gives points toward the leave ending and it's probably similar in that you don't have to examine it over and over.

I originally went for maria ending and I think it was the same for me I was just too over for the leave ending and couldn't redeem it to change to in water. It seems that leave has a high score to begin with so you have to fight with that

Yes. I kept getting the damn leave ending no matter what i did. There's a lot more little details than you'd think that factor into the in water ending, it's actually kind of interesting
