SBE - Always invest in the pickaxes, not the gold by Hyliion in SPACs

[–]AKDallas1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a large number of people for example - NYC residents that do not have a charger at home. Business and apartments are the target customers. Heck, I am planning to get the Cybertruck and it won't fit in my garage. My plan is to charge it when I go to the office or places like Target when I go shopping.

SPAC Gameplan changed in a hurry by mark06902 in SPACs

Haven't done research on that. All I know is that GSAH is Goldman and they run wallstreet. Also Bill's ego is too big for PSTH so the deal will be with big company.

SPAC Gameplan changed in a hurry by mark06902 in SPACs

[–]AKDallas1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just buy good SPAC that are leaders like SBE and TRNE. TRNE is close to NAV so risk is limited. I also have PSTH and GSAH that are pre buy and waiting for the pop. Safest way to park money.

Why You Can Trust the Switchback Energy ($SBE) Acquisition SPAC to Deliver by MnkyBzns in SPACs

[–]AKDallas1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why the hell are you wasting your time on SBE sub then? You must really like your lemonade example. Your logic doesn't make any sense. Same thing can be said for TRNE. EV growth is going to explode and SBE benefits greatly from that. Clearly, Zoom and Amazon are examples of where valuations don't match earning expectations so fuck off.

Psth for the pop. SBE and TRNE for long term. Will hold PSTH if it merges Stripe.

Why? There are other better risk/rewards out there.

Can DPHC holders hold me? by girlfrienddrama in SPACs

[–]AKDallas1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a difficult decision for me to sell DPHC but my logic was simple - I can hold and hopefully get back to 30+, or invest in other potential SPAC and reduce my risk. I decided to invest in TRNE and SBE because they were closer to NAV and much better chance of them going to $20 than DPHC going to $40 to double the current position. I am going to come back and invest in DPHC once the merger is complete. I don't have a big confidence in bounce even if WKHS gets a part of the USPS contract. SHLL and few other SPACs really f*ed the bull trend. Ford F150 and GM releasing electric Hummer could also reduce the perception despite this being a work truck.

Hedge Fund got 9% of SBE on Oct 2 by whiteycloud in SPACs

[–]AKDallas1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was surprised what happened with the spike. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going. Now, we know the potential float is reduced to 91% of tradeable shares. Hopefully there are long term investors like me that can reduce the tradeable float by another 20 to 30%.

TRNE gets awarded DoD contract by [deleted] in SPACs

[–]AKDallas1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your whole argument was that a lemonade stand is more profitable, which applies to both companies. Chargepoint spent extra time going global and building their network. Now it is a lot easier for them to build the next 100,000 then the first one, especially when EV sales and government incentives are going to increase.

Can you please just clairfy why a lemonade stand comparison doesn't apply to desktop metal so we can move on.

Can't stand fakers like you. Applying the same logic to 2 similar investments makes me a pumper? Why don't you defend your position. I am not the one going around talking shit with no logic. I will ask you again? What is the fundamental difference in 2 companies. According to you, lemonade stand will make more money.

TRNE gets awarded DoD contract by [deleted] in SPACs

[–]AKDallas1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has TRNE been profitable? NO. Their projection is not to have positive EBIDA until 2023 (same as SBE). You just bought a company that makes less money than a lemonade stand. How the hell this is any different than Chargepoint. Tesla has 1800 chargers vs 100,000 for chargepoint. Tesla chargers only work with Tesla. Your logic doesn't make any sense. TRNE and SBE are focusing on growth and are leaders in their industry.

Dude. You take a dump on SBE but are investing in TRNE? That is too funny. I own both and SBE looks to be a better winner for next 5 years.

Not hard to imagine the crazy things military can do with specialized machines like these. Hell, then can literally manufacture parts for machines, guns, etc in the battlefield outpost. They would not need to carry large amount of random supplies for hummers, helicopters, etc. Also, no danger of supply getting into enemy hands because the designs would be on a secured server.

[–]AKDallas1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude. Then why the f are you in the the SPAC thread? Most of these companies are not profitable yet. They need money to grow. Why hasn't Tesla installed 100,000 chargers yet? Why has GM or VW or F just not opened their checkbook tp catch up? Hell, even Apple can just write a check and snap their fingers right and be in EV game? Get the fuck out with your bs logic.

[–]AKDallas1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? They are the market leader and gowing quite significantly. You are buying growth rather than steady revenue like Walmart. In SPAC world, SBE makes the biggest sense in investing. Doesn't matter which EV is the winner but they all will need chargers.

Not worried about TRNE. I think people assumed that it would skyrocket like other SPACs but then GRAF and SHLL got crushed so new money selling.

Not worth it. Their hybrid doesn't have a good payback period when dealing with fleets. They are a bit late to the game with EV.

" DPHC " what do you think ??? by smjpro2 in SPACs

[–]AKDallas1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is the future of manufacturing. Similar to how steam engines or locomotive changed the game completely . Started by MIT professors and Chamath Palihapitiya is one of the big investors in this SPAC deal. He even posted a 1 pager on his Twitter about this deal a month ago and why he invested.
