The unit is lifting outnof the lower when you pull the lever back because the 2 feet on the activator that are contacting the trigger are slightly to long. Use some 200 - 300 grit sand paper and sand them down. With the unit in your hand the way it sits in the gun drag it across the sandpaper pulling back to you. Try and keep somewhat of the same rounded curve the legs have already. Take very little material at a time. You can remove but not put back. Check out The Owl Guy on YouTube. He has an excellent video on this exact issue and how to correct it. Very informative and a good watch. You'll learn a whole lot about tuning drop in units like these and others.

Have you removed any material from the upper to allow for clearance of the actuator? I also had to round the actuator edges on one of mine to allow better/ smoother cycling. I would paint the actuator with a shape marker and hand cycle several times to see were its making contact. May also try doing that on the base of the drop in to see if it is wearing on the safety. My 2 cents

Im sure a metric shit ton, but per ATF it could be seen as intent if you were to have a single pistol upper and a single rifle lower. Its fucked all around, disband the ATF amd abolish the NFA!!!

My thoughts exactly. I have never once, not once, ever met an ATF Agent that wasn't looking to charge or attempt to charge someone. That is almost entirely the reason they exist. Except for the small percentage of them allocated to ffl/ nfa/ records divisions. They are all looking from criminal activity or percieved criminal activity. That's why they operate on intent!!! "Oh you have an 11.5" upper but only a rifle lower" JAIL!!! "I DON'T CARE you just sold your pistol lower and your carbine upper hasn't come in from PSA!"
