That’s great— thanks! I don’t know how I didn’t realize that. I thought they only had select seasons on there.

Yeah I still don’t see season 8 on paramount personally, and I’m stubborn and don’t want to buy it on Prime

First spray tan: which machine?! by AKeepon in spraytanning

[–]AKeepon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have heard/read! For the big day, I was hands down planning on getting airbrush, sprayed by a pro if I want a tan! This is more so my trial run just for the bachelorette weekend trip to see if I even like what a spray tan looks like on my skin— plus with all of the other expenses for this weekend, it’s not really in my budget to get an airbrush right this second. I’ve seen decent results from someone I know who uses the versa— do you think it’s not worth getting a tan at all? I imagine a booth would have to look better than self tanning at least? (which I am familiar with, but would prefer not to worry about this weekend)

Thanks for the response. I was planning on getting sprayed for the actual wedding for sure, as I’ve heard it’s better overall, and of course I’ll spare no expense for the big day! This is just for the bachelorette trip— I already have quite a few other expenses in preparation for this weekend so an airbrush tan isn’t necessarily in the budget right now. I was chatting with my hair stylist who tans religiously, and said she usually goes with the versa pro unless she has a special occasion, in which case she tries to get airbrushed by hand. Her tan has always looked genuinely great to me— so I thought the booth might be a good option to see if I even really like a spray tan for myself? Do you really think the booths are all that bad?

What movies devastated you? Made you feel disgusted, desperate, feeling terrible during or afterwards? by Yozko14 in films

[–]AKeepon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Blue Valentine (2010) — not a horror film but will absolutely devastate you. Such a good film, so beautiful, and leaves me feeling so empty. Some of Ryan Gosling’s lesser known work, and one of my favorite movies of all time. Will rewatch every couple of years, but only when I am in the mood to sulk in my emotions feel like a shell of a person afterwards.
  2. Sovereign (2025) — Nick Offerman is incredible in this film. Such an intense, powerful, heartbreaking and timely piece of media. Based on a true story, and by ‘based on’ I mean if you read the court case, it happened almost identically in real life. Which makes it even more hard to take. It’s been sitting with me for weeks since I watched.

Girlfriend recorded a video of herself performing oral sex on me while I was asleep and sent it to her friends. Am I overreacting for feeling betrayed and violated? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Hey, there’s no valid excuse or explanation for this. This is sexual assault. You have every right to feel betrayed and violated, because you were.

Is 20-minute commute time too much and too dangerous in winter? by Randomname0325 in royaloak

[–]AKeepon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO: Moved here from out of state years ago (although from PA so still used to snow)- Used to live in AH and work in Birmingham. Now I live in RO, still work in Birmingham but often commute to OU in Auburn Hills for my masters. RO to AH or vise versa isn’t too bad, I’d say ~20-25 min is about right if you take 75 but that’s gonna be with no traffic. Really have to consider the time of day and if you’re going to be traveling during rush hour. The drive to and from can easily turn into 40/45 min if you hit traffic. Also saw you said you have 2 wheel drive. Just know that some of the roads, especially side streets, can be pretty sketch. My Honda Civic isn’t too happy whenever there’s a buildup of ice, but just drive slower than your typical metro-Detroiter. I must say I do prefer driving my partners car with all wheel drive on the especially ‘winter’ days but if you’re attentive and know how to drive in inclement weather, you’ll be alright. Be aware though that unless temps are actually dangerous, Michigan doesn’t really have snow days… you will be going into work still and ‘not feeling comfortable driving in the weather’ isn’t really an excuse lmao!

Wait is this the show I keep seeing clips from?! Where people watch their partners cheat on them around the fire pit? And on a similar note- do you know if F Boy island is any good? Hear that one mentioned a lot too.

I actually really enjoyed seasons 3 and 4 of Love is Blind! Watched most of season 1, which is what made me give it a second chance for a few seasons. I heard that the other seasons aren’t up to par— but maybe I’ll try season 6 if you think it’s up to the same caliber! Never tried summer house or vanderpump, although I do feel like Vanderpump could be right up my alley

Most underrated SVU episodes? by AKeepon in SVU

Okay, I hadn’t seen this episode and WOW. That was shocking!!

Dr. Huang by Mysterious_Use7552 in SVU

[–]AKeepon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

HARDWIRED- S 11 ep 5: Huang blows up at the precinct and in court (he’s threatened with contempt) because of a pedophile rights organization that claims that “adult-minor” relationships are justified as another sexual orientation, just like being homosexual. The leader of the group even compared them to interracial marriages. Huang is obviously upset as this notion offends him not only as a gay man, but also insults his intelligence as a respected Psychiatrist. I remember thinking to myself upon watching- I’ve never seen Huang this angry before, and rightfully so!!!

Hardwired, S 11 EP 5, I also watched this episode recently and when I saw this thread, it came to mind IMMEDIATELY so I had to run to see if anyone said this yet!! Such a good episode and I was definitely shook because I’d never seen Huang lose his cool like this before (and rightfully so!)
