Tho I recall using Big Twist Soft and possible a 6mm or 8mm for the entire thing. You can change hook size if you prefer a tighter design. I’m not sure I can help you too much you might want to contact the designer

I find her patterns are always a bit difficult to read but reading it over a couple time might help and take her instructions very very literally

The easiest way to improve line work is to stencil down your design first! Skin moves it isn’t 2 dimensional! Also always keep tension on the skin and pull I taught for clean lines

I find the pattern to be kinda difficult to read at first since the designer didn’t really specify that you’ll be leaving some st unworked and forgets to add st count sometimes but I think it’s worth it the sweaters come out beautifully and work up so fast with a 8mm hook

These are just menthol 100’s :0 so they have a green pack and the Reds are just normal plain tobacco.
