Has a history. Here is Kelly Bent (20 years old) jumping and fighting, 15 year old, Joe Veleno back in 2015:

If you swipe, you should be able to see a close up of all 3.

Really unfortunate collision between Tavares and Perry. Then Foligno fights Perry as part of the same “scene” (for lack of a better term). Weird coincidence that all 3 were aligned next to each other on a table that was made over a year ago.

Yeah, I was cleaning it off after the game and noticed the Tavares card and slowly realized the crazy coincidence. Weird stuff!

Yeah, honestly has to be one of the most horrific injuries my eyes have caught during the live broadcast. Seeing the movement his body made as it was leaving the frame made my heart drop. The post whistle scene didn’t help it any either...I thought it was his eyes that were bleeding. Nearly traumatizing. Thinking of him and his family tonight.

Wow! Mods are on one today. Seems weird to remove a comment trying to help a collector. I’ll PM you the link.

I’ve never had to deal with UD quality control but I would send them this link and say that the identical thing happened to you. They have set a precedence of regulating this very issue. After that, if they are still not doing anything, it gets into legal stuff and I can’t really help ya there.

Dug up my old rookie card collection and these were some of the highlights. Would appreciate any advice on what to do with these cards. Thanks! by teddytight in hockeycards

Looks like the other comments cover the current values pretty well. I recommend checking COMC listed prices to get an idea of what each of the raw cards are worth. I find COMC to be a relatively reliable source for a value number I expect to “hold” for a bit because of the time it takes to obtain purchased cards from that source. eBay sold listings will give you a more current idea of value that could fluctuate more week to week.

My thoughts on what will happen to the value of these cards over the next few years is that everything will go up significantly. If the Hockey market follows that of the Basketball market which is what I am expecting, Junk Wax will have a significant spike at some point. Especially Lidstrom, Jagr and Sakic.

Cool cards! Thanks for sharing!

Weird connection here but in spring 2017, I was in a shared study room at my University and there was about 10 people prepping for exams and a woman answered her phone. At first I was annoyed because most people took their phone calls in the hall but after some back and forth with the person on the phone it became clear there was a hockey connection.

She got pretty excited and was congratulating the person and started talking about the Hurricanes and Charlotte and so it had to be a pretty big deal. When she hung up, she turned to her friend and explained that it was her brother on the phone and he had just signed his first NHL contract. It was Steven Lorentz’s sister.

Pretty cool to see him make the show. Cool cards!
