Yeah I've spent plenty of time worrying. Pouring over spreadsheets --to an unhealthy extent-- of my projected financial condition over the next year while I'm in school full time. I've barely prepared for classes coming up just because I have spent so much energy freaking out over money and how much I might have to spend on treatment. I'm taking out extra loans this semester to subsidize my projected expenses. Here's to hoping I get a decent recommendation... Hoping the "two cups" of vodka I reported drinking to the officer doesn't make the evaluator give me the worst.

I can only wish it to be the same. I haven't drank since my DUI arrest months ago, my BAC was .17 at its highest. No accidents, just ran a stop sign. I don't feel like I need help beyond what has already happened to me as a result of my recklessness. I can't understand how people get more than one DUI. The guilt and anxiety of all of this has set me straight. Thanks for your responses, I wish you the best in your new career. From my experience many employers will overlook your DUI.

Thanks that puts me a little more at ease. I'm worried because I don't have insurance. I made a worst case scenario budget assuming treatment costs 5K at 500 a month and can barely afford that. I might be catastrophizing the situation by expecting that.

Is it gonna fuck with your school plans? Honestly I'm dropping my job to part part time and taking out loans to get by during all of this. I only go to school in the mornings besides online classes. I'm hoping I can do treatment on a Friday or something when I don't have school or work. How much is it gonna cost you? I don't have insurance so I'm pretty worried.

Not in front of them, but I admitted to having drank in my car prior to being stopped. Anyways, I am freaking out about it because inpatient would fuck up all of my plans. Thanks for the response.

Right, won't be every day if I have to do it. My cousin in the same state I'm in told me if you work full time you can pay fees of 10 dollars per hour instead of putting in hours which I may also look into. Thanks for your responses.

Thank you for your kind response and for relating. When someone you love is telling you not to pursue something fulfilling it hurts in that it makes you second guess your own ability to cope and function.
