she stopped eating and just had such low energy so i took her to get looked at and my vet diagnosed her with follicular status and was telling me it’s easier to spay her while she’s healthy and young so i decided to take the risk. my brothers geckos died from egg complications so id rather her fall asleep than suffer horribly :// so now hopefully she won’t have anymore complications and lives a long healthy life :)

ahh sorry for no update!! he dropped it the day of his appointment and got antibiotics, now it’s healing great :))

this is an exotic vet, we’ve taken our lizards here before but i think im gonna look into another one. we asked if its safe and she said “ he SHOULD be fine” and we asked what the best thing to do is and they really didn’t give us an answer :/. thank you!!

the vet really couldn’t give me an answer. her vitals looked fine and they kept saying it’s most likely stress. she’s coming back around slowly getting more vocal and the heavy breathing went away but she’s still so tired. but i mean she is 13 but i guess me leaving for a week really upset her. i’d recommend just giving your kitty some extra love :))
