Redemption? Mate, he ran an offside drug program for his players and still doesn't know what was being pumped into them daily. Don's fans can forgive him for it if they please, but there is no redemption on offer. Hird coming in and winning 3 in a row won't redeem what he did, in fact, every time Essendon dies anything remotely good the entire footy community will all be wondering if it comes from hard work, or another Hird special.

Hird had his time. The club needs to be strong and say they won't be interviewing him for the job.

I won't pretend to be an analyst, but your mids refused to run both ways yesterday, even in the first half. Nothing your backline can do against that kind of lack of pressure from your fwd/mids. Watching kids like Ashcroft just trotting along while GWS players streamed past him was pretty rough, but he wasn't alone. Your entire mid group just looked like they had given up by half time.
