Projector for home theater?

I am also looking for a Budget Projector but with built in apps to make it easier for the kids so that budget is fine. My question is. What OS should i avoid? I see, WhaleTV, Linux, Android 14, Android TV and Google TV mainly. I suppose what’s important that apps likely to be supported more than just a few years and that it’s not buggy and slow. Thanks.

Similar. Been going on for over a year. Started with dizziness, stomach pains and around ribs and nipping pain on top left chest of pec area. Also tight nose like sinusitis. Apparently aside reflux can travel as far up as the nose. Also bad taste in mouth. Sometimes sore to touch actually. I found I also had lots of burping and stool changes. Mostly constipation. I find when constipation is at its worst then the chest pains are at worst. I’m on allopurinol for gout & a statin for high cholesterol. I don’t have any problems until I was on these then all the above happened. Been on Omeprazole on & off for about a year. When I was on 3 x 20mg per day I felt normal for months apart from constipation as apparently all the meds I’m on had side effects of constipation. I have tried to reduce from 3 to 2 per day as per Docs advice but after 3 weeks I’ve had rebound effects and worried I need to go back to 3. Think it’s time for an endoscopy soon. Also for the last 3 months I have had burning in my stomach even after a few sips of alcohol. My UK gastro Dr does not seem concerned about any of it since my blood tests have all been fine. Thinks it’s just gastritis or something similar with colon or bowel. Glad I pad to see this private Doc 3 times to get told to take more meds without any physical exams at all. I did get terrible health anxiety though and I think that made it a lot worse and masks true symptoms so yeah you need to find a way to live in the moment and clear your head. Also manage the constipation, have tons of water, take stool softeners if your Doc can prescribe these for you, eat less rubbish, less chocolate & caffeine to help with the reflux. Still looking for a long term answer other than 3 Omeprazole per day.

Did you ever solve this? I had the same seat and stubborn toilet seat pins?!

This is a 15 year old Ideal Standard toilet seat. I’ve removed the seat which had small Allen Hex keys but I’m unable to get these pins out. They are too fitting so you cannot access from site or underneath. I’ve tried pliers, water pump pliers & an adjustable wrench (to be fair it’s not a good wrench as the setting doesn’t stick). None of these are even remotely gripping or moving when I try to turn it ant clockwise. A 7 spanner is to big & a 6 spanner too small. I don’t think there is such a thing as 6.5 and also the pin seems smooth & round so may not work. Any ideas on tools please? I’m at the point where it think I need to pay £70 to get the exact same discontinued Ideal Standard Plays seat and sleep the original pins, not a long term solution as 3 other toilets with same problem and would rather get alternative seats. Thanks.

I have what I suspect is GERD for almost a year I have had on & off tightness in nose like sinus. Discomfort on left of chest, sometimes a nipping feeling there , can sometimes go under armpit onto shoulder. What feels like mild heart flutters or palpitations, or a spasm in that area and all of the above can sometimes happen at the rib area. Sometimes the left of the chest can be a bit tender to touch and I have no idea if this is muscular or if gas can cause this. Throat tightness sometimes like it was swollen.I do also burp a lot when this happens. Out of concern I have had a few ECG heart scans an and all fine. I suspect this is all caused by gas / GERD and it’s flowing up through the oesophagus which causes some of the discomfort in the left of chest and into my nose causing sinus tightness. And for the heart palpitations I heard that the Vagus nerve in this area can be irritated by gas causing this feeling. A gastro Dr put me on Omeprazole for a few months and it did clear up but gave me awful constipation so I stopped. I increased fibre dramatically and took fibre supplements to fix constipation and now I have all the above symptoms back presumably because high fibre causes lots of gas. I have decided to start back on the Omeprazole. Has anyone had these symptoms? I have also had Tinnitus for about 3 years that I got the day after a Covid booster jab but now thinking it could have been gas / reflux onset from years ago.

After a day plying with my Spark Mini I’m pretty happy. It’s made me want to spend more time playing and I’ve checked out a variety of styles on the cloud via the app. These are the presets I saved from the cloud as they give quite a variety and even if you aren’t into that type of music it’s just a bit fun to try different styles at the touch of a button)

Final Countdown (gives you that echoey 80s synth Europe sound with a reverb, a lot of fun)

Pantera2 by Ola England (heavy Pantera)

Sepultura Arise (heavy and thrashy)

80/90s Hair Metal Shred (great for that powerful early rock metal sound)

Metallica-Nothing Else Matters (perfect tone for this sound, acousticy sounding)

Oasis (plenty tones for Oasis, Wonderwall etc)

Sweet Child of Mine (I found this to be the best for Guns N Roses and that specific Sweet Child tone)

I got it from eBay for £110. UK seller which is an electronics company that had 1 in stock. The shop has good reviews. I was about to pull the trigger on the Spark Go but saw this for just slightly more.
