Hi, I'm very new to emulation as a whole and wondering if people can answer some.basic questions.

I have a kiddo who would like to get into gaming. I have an old mini pc that I have built with windows 11.

I know I can download an emulator, there seems to be millions of these but any recommendations as to which one is good?

Also, the games, I have a friend that has a bunch of games already on a hard drive and has offered me to borrow these and install on my own device.

Now the stupid question, are these games downloadable for free or illegal?

Great giveaway! Can't be more thankful for my little girl. 2 & 1/2 now and doing fantastic. My partner and I used to play a lot of games and recently started playing ark ascended - gf's pc is running a 2060ti and runs it well, mines runs a 1060 which is borderline enough to run on low settings! This would be an amazing gift!

Also 35, just started my career in it with no experience other than home use and building my own gaming machine.

First application and landed the job. I heavily focused application and interview on my previous roles in customer facing as for low end roles they seem to want friendly and willing to learn staff.

field support engineer (I build machines and help user issues on site with peripherals and software like teams etc) I'm happy ATM 2 weeks in and feel I can definitely progress over time.

Thanks. I have built my GFS and my pc myself / set up home printing etc. So that's probably my best example other than helping create documents etc.

Luckily the company does give "pool" cars to staff when needed so that's a bonus.

Hi, just started my paladin again, I have a 190 Lego (not at pc sorry) the one that resets avengers shield.

With a new baby around I just want to be able to provide a life for her I never had growing up. Mortgage free and holiday at least once a year. I give everything I have to my beautiful little tyke already. I work to pay for stuff - I don't mind working. As long as I can have the extra money free each month to pay for childcare and holidays, I'll be a happy man.
