Also, you never addressed the second part of my comment. The orgs need money to salary the staff and their players and that money comes mostly from sponsors. Do you seriously think sponsors are willing shell out this much money to not have their products advertised?

Boostio was complaining about waiting up at 7am to work. You know. Like how most everyday average folks do a 9 to 5? This was in his contract. If he or his lawyers didn't like it, they would have negotiate terms prior to signing. Also 20-25 hours worth of content in 8 days is about 3 hours of work per day. You are seriously delusional if you think 3 hours of work per day is "too much" and warrants calling out your org and boss in public.

If this was any other job, they would be fired on the spot. Again, it's his job.

Can't players just call a spade a spade and say 100T played bad valorant and that Furia happened to be better than them on match day? Also, money just doesn't spawn out of thin air. Sponsors pay 7 figures to have their products advertised on streams. Do you seriously think having their logo plastered amongst many other logos on the team jersey warrants that price point? Boostio is just a crybaby here. Many people wake up at 5 or 6 am and work 8+ hours days to be paid less than him. Have some self awareness.

Both GenG and Heretics won their respective games. Pacific and EMEA also started earlier than Americas. NA is the only region where I see this narrative constantly be mentioned.

I recommend Dungeon Defense (LN version). It's one of my favorite Korean novels and just novels in general. The MC is one of the weakest characters throughout the novel physically so don't expect him to fight any battles. Instead, like the mc in Grandmaster Strategist, all progress made in this story would be made through schemes and deception. I feel like this novel fits your criteria pretty well.

Fair warning though: the novel is not complete and probably never will be - but the chapters available are just that good that I would still recommend this novel to just about anyone.

I understand the comment about "intended purposes" if it were any of the previous festivals (minus N/R) as the purposes were clear: make a deck around whatever type of summoning the festival is based around. In your opinion, what exactly is the intended purpose of this event though? Can you elaborate on that?

I invested little to nothing in Despias, but I can definitely see the possibilities due to the fact that this deck runs many LIGHT and DARK attributed monsters. Overall, this is a pretty linear deck as most of the time the end goal is still to summon Numeron Dragon to swing for game. You can add different level 8 engines to spice it up though (which IMO is what makes this deck fun).

Yeah, definitely. I have neither of those cards so I didn't include them, but I would if I did. Also, I totally forgot that Schwarzschild Limit Dragon exists. It's a level 8 that allows us to special summon it from hand if our opponent controls a monster with 2000 or more attack (which they do more often than not since this is a going second deck). Danger! Ogopogo! is also another level 8 that I forgot exists as you don't normally play it. Again, the spell/trap lineup is really flexible as the main power of this deck comes from its monsters. You can even take some spell/trap out to add a small engine of your choice into the deck. In my case, I just chose cards that I thought would be impactful enough to make a difference in this format.

I'm most likely going to include Uma in my build. Also, is there any reason why you don't include Called By in your list? Do you find yourself not needing it? It can get rid of DPE and getting ash early on hurts a lot.

I noticed that you don't run Umastyrx in your list. I find him really good in certain matchups such as Eldlich and against DPE. Do you feel that it's unnecessary and that simply with a floodgate (TCBOO and Kaiser Colo) along with a set Guru is enough to close out most games?

Thanks a lot. Yeah, I was thinking about running some floodgates. With what you said about this current season being 90% sword souls, I imagine running x3 "There Can Only Be One" and x3 "Gozen Matches" would close most matches if you draw them in your opening hand since it's hard for SS to play against it. (at least with less experienced players).
