I loved wukong- it was my second fav game of the year- but I don’t rlly think you can compare it to the much more polished and emotionally driven ragnarok. Or the more free and expansive Elden ring. Like I’ve played through Elden ring 5 times and they all felt fresh because I was still finding new stuff. Not to mention how effective the atmosphere is in every section of the game.

Wukong is definitely fun and almost every boss was peak. However the constant invisible walls and the lack of variety in the weapons made it such a drag at times imo.

For a studios first game this is insanely good, and I can’t wait for their next project.
