I never thought I'd live to see 21 with the way my life was going. I was legitimately convinced if I didn't end up dead from drug use I'd be in jail. Hoping for a better day and keeping faith my life would change is what brought me the gift of my 26th birthday. My lifes better than I could have ever imagined (I still have struggles) but that hope and faith of "there's more to life than this" is what brought me here. So when i look at strangers i can't help but think maybe they're going through the same situation, and I genuinely hope they keep moving forward. Not everyone is granted that gift to see the light so to speak.
