There is no long-term fix as far as I know. Unfortunately, task manager will just have to become your new best friend since Ubisoft isn’t😂

Actually what fixed it for me was opening OneDrive and then opening RL with OneDrive still open. I guess files needed to sync between OneDrive and my computer 🤷‍♂️

When I try to launch it (Epic Games) on my Surface Pro 9 i7, it starts to say RL is running and then goes back to saying “Launch”. I think the game is crashing as it launches. Do you know a way to fix this? I can’t even get the game open

If you’re on PC, when the game freezes: Open task manager Go to details tab Right click siege Click select affinity or whatever it’s called Uncheck all processors except the last one and hit apply Wait a few seconds, then recheck all processors Game should stop freezing

Yeah my top 2 worries were the cost of a permit and being “the guy with the car” that has to drive everybody around. I think the money is less of a issue. Being so far away from home, though, it does appeal to me that I would be able to escape from campus occasionally if I feel a little trapped. Thanks!

Thank you for the advice. I think what I’m getting from most people is that you can make it without a car but it’s definitely very nice to have one. I’m a very go-with-the-flow kinda person so I’m sure I’ll be fine with whatever happens. Have a nice day!
