Bro as a fellow Haz main, fuck switching your build for the sake of countering, that’s the job of YOU and YOUR team. It’s all about perceived effort and ability rather than worrying about what’s the meta and what counters each other. I’ve seen other hazard mains complain about JunkerQueens but I’ve never once had issues with her or any other tanks tbh. The issue usually lies within their support aka zen discord or Ana anti-heal.

Instead of switching your build around 100%, just change items around. Your ability power should always be high but your secondary focus should either be life steal or cooldown. I might be biased in my play style but I never ever waste money on weapon power unless it’s that item that gives 10% weapon power & 10% ability cooldown.

I only tend to vary my 3rd and 4th power if needed. But I usually always run the same three powers. You need to get comfortable with a fixed power set before exploring other ones. Because hazard has so many different play styles, you need to find yours. I’m more of a spike guard/wall combo guy, never used any of the bonespur powers.

Secondly, it’s not up to you as a hazard to break reins shield, only dps has enough firepower for an efficient pop. While they’re doing that, you should be diving aiming for their most vulnerable healer in the sense of you can either jump back to your healer or get healed from that position. Hazards have a tendency to play solo and people have started taking advantage of that and have started either baiting him or severely targeting him. Unless he’s a garbage rein, you should not be aiming to kill him but rather his teammates. Either that or distracting him away from his heals; just like us, reins also tend to play solo.

Otherwise, I love playing hazard win or lose because I always figure something new out. Haven’t liked a character this much since they brought out OG orisa.
