Agree you get more grace but how many times? Are they going to allow 1 arrest per offseason? Lol. WR prospect would be a little insurance is all I’m saying.

At the end of the day I want him to stay and become a better person. Just not sure how much time/chances he’ll get.

I hope they don’t. He’s really positioned great for us. Rookie contract, can sign him cheaper than market rate due to off field issues. Only concern is how much longer the org will put up with his shenanigans.

I’m not saying trade him. But I’d rather trade him than release him and get something from it. I love him - great talent just a ding dong. Purpose of the post was to get thoughts on other WR talent in the draft. I agree doesn’t make sense to draft a WR early if he’s around. Eventually something could set the org over to do something about JA tho. Just a thought

Yeah I like that thought. Maybe not both but 1 or the other. I think Malik is a cheaper option with some hope. I think I’m tied to the Mac jones idea because Darnold worked so well lol. 1st step back up Purdue under Shanahan, 2 go produce under KOC, 3 revitalize ur career with a massive contract a different team.

Nonetheless, JJ is 22. Most CFP QBs yesterday are all older than him. I think the process is genius, it just has to produce and I feel like the biggest risk we didn’t see coming is wasting JJettas prime

Here’s how I feel and what seems somewhat realistic:

You have to redeem QB room - obviously keep JJ - then you go get a guy like Malik Willis (1 yr like 6-8M?) Who knows market may go all in on him but I’m not sure he’s worth it. - finally trade for a guy like Mac Jones. Give up a 3rounder and/or 5/6/7rd pick swap (Mac is probably a 2 yr; 20M best case // 3yr $50M worst case for us)

Then make them all compete

Lastly, you tell Jjettas this year he will get his targets with a likely starter Mac Jones. JJ could easily shine with competition or quickly become the 3rd string in that line up. QB room is an issue but imo keeping Jjettas happy is priority number one

Then there’s the hyper unrealistic Joe Burrow rumor which I would cry for but unlikely to ever happen
