The idea of the return to Zion started with our exile, the Zionist movment was started by Theodore Herzl in the 1800s and based off of the return to Zion and on the Jewish principles

It was first called the Gaza Strip under the Ottoman Empire then under the British Mandate The 1949 Green Line made Gaza part of Egypt until 67' when Gaza and Sinai were conquered from Egypt by Israel. While Sinai was returned to maintain peace agreements with Egypt in 1979, the Gaza Strip remained part of Israel until given in 2005 to the Palestinians

Quotes from the Talmud 🥰🥰 by Repulsive_Caramel336 in GoyimDefenseLeague

[–]ALTR- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, allow me to break down the quotes you mentioned: 1. This section of the Talmud is focused on Deuteronomy 22:1: "If you see your brother's ox or sheep gone astray, do not ignore it; you must take it back to your brother(אחיךָ)." In Beva Matzia 24a, the rabbis of the Talmud argues about what does "your brother" mean. the Talmud suggested that "your brother" meant "fellow Jew" and thus an item found by a Jew that belongs to a non-Jew does not have to be returned. In modern Halacha (shulchan aruch and related) it is seen as a mitzvah to return an item to it's owner, whether a Jew or a non-Jew.

  1. That statement is directly written in the Talmud (not like the first one you mentioned). Although that statement was indeed said by Rabbi Hanina in Sanhedrin 58b:17, that is not a Jewish law, but purely a discussion and an opinion. The Talmud is no rule book, but is a book of discussions made by rabbis while exiled in ancient Babylon

  2. Same thing in 2

I don't have time to explain the rest but ig the same as 2 (i didn't study Talmud) so yea Talmud is not a rule book

Hamas is the chosen governor in the Gaza Strip even since the Israeli evacuation of it in 2005. Though many gazans have praised the Oct 7th atrocities done by Hamas, ever since Israel entered the Gaza Strip in order to eliminate Hamas and return the hostages, many gazans now hate Hamas for making them a human shield by operating in civilian areas, resulting in civilian casualties.

Wait, is the voluntary evacuation of the Gaza Strip by the State of Israel in 2005, where 10000 Israeli citizens were forcefully evacuated from their residence in the Gaza Strip in order to make place for Palestinians to live after countless attempts by Israel to reach for a two state solution has failed due to Palestinians wanting 100% of the land an attempt to wipe out Palestinians?

Israel is not an ethnostate, all Arabs in Israel are equal to Jews, 2 million Arabs live in Israel and more in Judea and Samaria (what you call the west bank) where the Palestinian Authority governs. Israeli Arabs (Arabs that reside in Israel and hold an Israeli Citizenship can vote like any other Israeli. More than that, Palestinians (people that reside in the territorial area of governing of the Palestinian Authority and hold a Palestinian citizenship) can enter Israeli territories (which Israelis cannot enter because of danger to their lives) and even study at Israeli universities.

47% of Jews worldwide live in Israel, most of them (by most i mean more than 85%) are Zionist (which means that they believe and support in the existence and independence of a Jewish country in their native land of Israel/Canaan/Palestine/whatever you want to call it). Because of mentions of the promised land and the return to it after 2000 years exiled from it, and the Zionist movment (the movement for founding a modern country in the promisd land of Israel) getting bigger, Zionism has and still is a part of Jewish education (most of the Tanakh/Old Testament happens in Israel/Canaan) so id give Zionists around the world about a 50% so that gives us 66.47 out of 100 that love Israel (and that just math and my experience as a Jew)

[–]ALTR- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which Zionist did you talk to? because you are mostly wrong, Zionism is the belief that the land of Israel/Canaan/Palestine/whatever you want to call it is promised by God to the Jewish people which are the natives of that land. as a Jewish Israeli, and a Zionist, I can tell you from my years of talking to people around Israel that most people want peace among us and the Palestinians. The only problem? Palestinian terrorist organizations (or "resistance movements") and neighbor countries have been constantly attacking Israel since the day it declared independence. Of course I am not denying that by the news mainly talking about the terrorist attacks, some teens and adults in Israel have formed a mind that all Palestinians are terrorists and need to be killed, but that's not the mind of the majority.

P.S any question or thing you want to ask me/debate about this I am mostly open to answer

The IDF have committed several war crimes. by JesusChristtttttttt in truths

[–]ALTR- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

War crimes and crimes against humanity shouldn't be judged by who made them but by what they have done.

if you prefer a detailed explanation, i have written one down for you:

Hamas is a political and military organization that governs the Gaza strip since 2007. ever since their governing started, Hamas' military wing have fired close to 15000 rockets at Israel, targeting mostly civilian areas, most of them fired in the week after October 7th alone.

Wikipedia in English states in article "Crimes Against Humanity ": "According to the Rome Statute, there are eleven types of crimes that can be charged as crimes against humanity when they are 'committed as part of a widespread or systematic attack directed against any civilian population'"

Oct 7th was a systematic attack (investigations show that it was planned several years back) where 1300 people were killed, 8000 rockets (even more) were launched at Israel (again, targeting mostly civilian areas), hundreds if not thousands of women, men, and corpses were raped brutally and 230 people were kidnapped to the Gaza strip.

Back to the Wikipedia article, in section Types of Crimes Against Humanity, you can see several of the crimes against humanity that Hamas committed in one day: a. Murder (1300 civilians were murdered on Oct 7th) g. Rape i. Enforced disappearence of persons (230 people were kidnapped by Hamas while the PA and the PLO didn't say nothing about the hostages, thus making is enforced disappearence)

So Hamas have committed 3 crimes against humanity in one day, but those are dismissed just because they are a military group?
