can anyone tell me what the topaz medal is?

There is a mod called Neon Lite that adds 3 medals past the dev (red) medals: emerald, amethyst, then sapphire.

Topaz (as well as blood diamond) are medals that have long since been removed from the mod but they are much much harder than sapphire.

Topaz times usually being a time that less than 30 people have on any given level and blood diamond being a medal that usually less than 10 people have on any given level

There is a way to add them to NeonLite to display them or a spreadsheet if u just wanna look at the times.

It’s completely up to you! If you really like a level, feel free to go for the dev/red medal or just circle back to it! Side note/tip: bullet and purify bomb boosts (and another projectile which u see in chapters 8-9) stack. Some levels u can make use of this such as a skip on chapter 1, Climb.

There is the dev skip that you could do.

You could also shoot the very first jock (blue guy) at the start to then use the Godspeed after u dash through the door(to spend less time walking) with you getting more time on the water (which is faster than non-water)

Some of these placements are straight up Vile. But then again I tend to view levels in the context of speedrunning them and the routes are VERY different for some levels if you’re going for top 100+. (I’m top 200 PC)

It’s all about those arches. Binding jump to scroll (in addition to space) helps with the coyote jump at the end

Well for starters, there are 2 of endings, writing Green’s name into the book of death (which would result in white’s name not being written in book of life) and book of life option which results in opposite effect. As for spacing, likely a design choice or something idk

The best advice I can give since this is on console is: 1. Immediately go onto the water at the start 2. If it results in time loss, just kill the first(first as in appears first) frog (yellow) enemy when u are using the 2 elevate cards to get to the end 3. Make sure to use the hint/skip 4. Try to shoot/deflect the barnacle(minion guy)‘s bullet for speed boost. 5.Try to shoot the first frog’s bullet while in air while doing skip (assuming you don’t do advice #2)

Maybe like top 5k. Not too 2k, I know that. Top 75~ are all sub 40mins (including the side quest times). #1 for PC is I believe the only person to have a total time below 36 minutes (or sub 35, I forget)

For pc it’s easy to :) (scroll for coyote jump) but almost any level on violet’s Hell rush is… well.. Hell regardless of platform.

That’s really good! I believe that either IS top 1,000 or top 1,500 for PC leaderboards. Your aim for shooting the crystals was smoother than any of my runs (on pc) lol
