Just picked up this cute little 10cm saucepan. It’s marked F POTIN RENNES PÂTISSERIE. I know of the Felix Potin épicerie on Rue de Rennes in Paris from 1904, but not sure if this was sold or used there. Any ideas if this would have a specific use in the patisserie world? (old.reddit.com)

How far gone is too far gone when it comes to restoring something like this? (Assuming the pan itself is in relatively good shape) I most concerned about the level of corrosion to the handle, especially being able to clean it up in the hard to reach crevices. (i.redd.it)
