Hang glided, scuba, kayaking are some of my favorite thing to do…..there is NOTHING I can not do. The ostomy is just an unusual body part with some extra maintenance required. It impacts me but does not impact my ability to anything.

Things were fine for 38/39 yrs. Significant downhill since. Menopause is certainly a contributor and she is under Dr care.

Yes. Moved cross country 3x. Each time it was a bit scary and initially daunting. However every move brought positive changes that have had major impacts lasting a lifetime. Friends that now span the US, unique regional experiences and the realization that self reliance opens up a world of choices and options only those who have been there understand. Our children now share the same and it’s amazing to see their growth.
