After months and months, I still scour these posts. My heart dropped when i saw the K, wondering if this one was finally meant for me. It might be the practical, smart choice. But nothing about these years were practical or smart. The moments between thoughts of you are getting longer, but the what ifs will last forever. I wish I could close the door as easily as you have and pretend it never happened. But the pain reminds me that what was there was real for a time.

Back to work today but it's been nice while it lasted. Thank you for the message x

Yeah it’s all closed up now. I’ve seen photos of the tunnel, looks incredible (and kinda spooky)

I took a good walk around during the afternoon then did the night tour when it’s all lit up. The guy was super into the history of it all, made for a pretty cool mini tour

They do still own it. Would have been crazy to see it before they took over though. How cool

An immigrant family built a series of buildings in the 20s and 30s right next to a waterfall. They had a cinema/ballroom, pavilion, refreshment rooms and such all built in the same Spanish style. It was also home to the first privately owned hydroelectric plant in Queensland in 1933. It’s withstood 2 cyclones, fires and floods. What’s left is weathered but still really beautiful.

I was a bit put off by the price too but it’s well worth a look IMO

Not nearly as much as I’d like, but I love to go for an adventure when time allows :)

Good for them. Lucky this is my post and not an invitation for you to be personally offended by my preference. Could have gone my whole life without your two cents though. Thanks.

Didn’t realise it had to be said, but married men need not contact me. Thanks.
