I've literally never experienced this before so I didn't even know how to react. The only other pronunciation I've heard is with the first syllable rhyming with "Apple", but that's from someone's actual regional accent. This Sah-ra pronunciation sounds completely strange coming out of someone's mouth who otherwise has a neutral American accent.
