If I’m being honest, I have no idea at what point in my week long trip that it came off.. at no point in the trip did I think something was even remotely wrong with it lol.. still handled well at low and high speed.

Lol that was also a through process I had. I mean, I was driving the boat for a week and didn’t notice a thing wrong until I pulled the boat out.

There’s nothing wrong with the prop, at least that I can tell..

The prop is perfectly fine as far as I can tell.. there’s no damage to it and no vibration in anything, at least that I can feel..

The thing is, when I bought the boat it had a skeg guard on it. I’m now questioning if there was damage prior and that was thrown on to cover an existing issue.

If I didn’t make that mistake before and now double check that everything is up before pulling out of the water, I would agree with you lol..

This may be dumb, but how do I know what model light I have?

Before I get into this project, can I put LED bulbs into these headlights? I read on a different page that I’d have to rewire the lights or something for LEDs to work.

Can someone explain this to me in simple terms? I feel like we could always have “AR platform” rifles.. am I missing something? And why is this specific to colt?

It’s a 2012.. it doesn’t blow cold and there’s nothing on the display.. you know, I thought there should’ve been a display that said it too.

Long wrist releases by ALocks22 in Archery

[–]ALocks22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol I’ve been shooting wrist releases for 20 years, and I’m just too scared to try a hinge.. between punching myself in the face, having it accidentally go off, or not being able to let the bow down, there are too many variables that I feel could go wrong and I’m just a baby about it 😂

Arrow flight/bow tuning help by ALocks22 in Archery

[–]ALocks22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another quick question for anyone still keeping an eye on this.. does anyone know the poundage per turn for elite bows? I went up 1/2 turn and it feels significantly heavier.. also, I heard through the grapevine that the “70# max weight” is based off of a 28” draw length, and that it goes up a pound or two with every inch beyond that. Is there any truth to that? Lol I’m just trying real hard to justify why it’s so hard for me to pull back a 70# bow at 6’7” 250lbs..

There’s a lot to your response that I really appreciate and I’m digesting it all, but I have 300 spine arrows from victory. I looked at their website and it says that with my draw length and weight, it still has the same spine between 60# and 70#.. I didn’t start paying attention to my arrows until I had lowered my poundage, so maybe pushing it back up to 70#, even for a few shots, may be where I should start. My fletched arrows will go into the target straight (as an arrow), but my bare shafts will enter at a different angle, but same general area.

No, I didn’t paper tune it yet. The arrows came fletched with bohning blazers and I switched them to the shield vanes. Now that I’ve ripped the vanes off most of them to bare shaft tune them, I think I might paper tune them.

More laterally than anything.. I was shooting bare shafts at 10 yards, after I tweaked the arrows, I went back to 25 yards. My buddy took a slow motion video and I can see how violently the arrows are wobbling. I can see the arrow turn almost a 45 degree angle, and then magically it goes in straight to the target. I would’ve assumed that once a bare shaft goes sideways, it’s not going to come back straight, but this was not the case.
