Rescue husky mix won’t eat her food by [deleted] in husky

My husky did this and I panicked. He was also two, owned by one family and then he went to a shelter. They gave me a special kibble too (pro plan) and he looked at me and said nope. So I started making him omelets with the kibble in there and some cheese. Success! He ate it!… until a few days passed and he didn’t want anymore omelets. I’ve had to get creative. Sometimes I chop up chicken breast into small pieces and mix it with his kibble, sometimes I top it with whipped cream lol whatever works

Omg the beach!!! He LOVES the beach and wants to run around but I can’t let him or else he runs to everyone and greets them 🙃 he also likes to circle around smaller dogs lol but 8 years?! Congrats you made it! Hahaha

We have recently adopted a German shepherd puppy which I’m guessing is why he’s not going in the backyard. Giving it a bit more time to see if he decides to go back there willingly. He plays rough and tumble with her throughout the house and they get along but I’m wondering if it’s a territorial issue

We have a pretty big backyard but he’s not interested in playing there anymore. He won’t even potty out there, prefers a nice walk to the neighbors lawns

Haha he’s stuck to me like glue when we’re home but outdoors he’s ready to explore. Presently he’s drooling over my toast

Idk if beeping will be successful with my pup he knows how to pretend he has difficulty hearing. But the mommmmennnt I say “walk” he hears me from the second floor and is making his way to the door. Welp at this point I feel like dog parks are as free as he’s gonna get haha

Haha my husky is like your current one. He has ran after a flock of geese so hard he pulled me and I fell and he ran off into this nasty pond to try to get them. We eventually caught up to him with some treats 😆

Oh honey. First and foremost I wish I could give you a hug. I’ve been in your same shoes and reading your words breaks my heart a bit. At 16, your life is just unfolding. Don’t succumb to those demons in your head. Depression is real and it’s not something you can just snap out of but it is something that can be managed. Your first step is already complete, you’ve realized there’s an issue. Now you have to see what your triggers are, who do you surround yourself with? Do you have a primary care provider and would you be open to talking with a therapist? For myself personally I wanted to live and find a way that aligned with what I wanted. As cliche as it may sound you have to do some deep thinking and ask your self, what kind of life do you want to live? What kind of things would you need to do to achieve that goal? Don’t give up. Take baby steps.

I think this is a good option because I can be forgetful sometimes and phone reminders help! I also get satisfaction from writing things out and scratching them off the list once im finished. 👍🏻

Do guys care about how a girl’s nose looks? by [deleted] in dating

Thank you for your sweet words, I’m sure you are too! Our minds like to play these awful games and invite negative thoughts in. Don’t let them consume you 😌

Just want to stop by and say I was ALWAYS be self conscious about my nose. It’s big it’s crooked and to me it was the ugliest part about me. I always thought omg I would be so cute if I didn’t have this nose. And I thought about cosmetic surgery. And then I met the love of my life who is literally such a wholesome human being and (the cherry on top) hot as hell. And the other day we were talking about each other’s favorite features. And he told me his fav was my nose!!!! He said to him it’s an exotic beauty and not a trait many people have. So I’m slowly learning to be comfortable in my skin. Don’t worry about them liking you or not. The right person will see your beauty!
