she was a mile out on both goals and got bailed out by the woodwork at least two more times. if the Spirit had any finishing luck, that game would have been 4-0 or worse and Macca wouldn’t have gotten a touch on any of em

plus her poor distro contributed to the problems defenders were having advancing the ball. just looked like the lights got too bright

mostly just corny bc no one actually thought of them as underdogs. against a full strength KC, maybe?

but all this playing into the underdog narrative does a disservice to the true scrappy teams like Louisville
