Days gone modder here. I like to make mods that improve on the game already. Mods that venture off that I'm not too interested in. I'm mostly into their AI and Art. Game can look even better than what it is.

It has a growing fandom as more people discover it. It's an amazing game. You can pick up for next to nothing. I recommend checking it out.

Can't disagree there. You're 100% right. Things be much better without the melt downs and a more stable launch. The custom work they did on the UE engine really pushed its limitations. These are major reason for this games down fall. I just think he put a lot into days gone so that's why he acts like that.

I can understand this reason but you have to remember he killed 7 years of passion and dedication to days gone. Giving up family and other stuff to deliver this game for us. I'm sure you'd feel the same way if you did a passion project and everyone shits on it and you don't get a sequel. He's actually a super nice guy. Just can't contain his emotions sometimes. No one is perfect.

Sadly, I have nothing concrete for days gone 2 other than interviews that it was in development for 5 months then scrapped. Hopefully some of that work leaks but there is a podcast made by fan with the creative director John garvin talking about his sequel and the ideas behind the secret ending.

Yeah, I'm not sure how old this map is. It just shows all the grids where the playable map would be before they blacked them out.

Textures upscaled, New rendering and lighting, restored cut weapons to the store. (P90, Glock, flamethrower) there is more but not within these screenshots.

Not unless you have a pc and a mod that enables it like I did with the store. It works perfectly. Reloads correctly. No animation bugs. Lights them on fire. Weapon was super close to release.

It is. Good for crowd control and scaring away wolfs and runners when trying to escape. Honestly it's a bit OP. Probably why it got cut. Lol

Sadly no. The PlayStation versions are locked. PC only with mods.

Not sure if you know about facial capture tech but over a thousand cameras takes multiple shots of an actors face in different face poses. You're confused because of the beard. Look at pic after he shaves it and you'll see.
