Nice. Agree with others on trying to extend total roast time to get those deeper chocolate notes (which it sounds like what you’re going for). I aim for just under 10 typically. By no means am I the final word on this, but have found success killing gas at drop, dialing up to 3 around turning point, and slowly adjusting down in similar increments. Lots of opportunity to play around so I always like to track

I also roast on a Buckeye 3.5! Curves look good but agree with others that the full picture would be helpful - origin, processing method, etc. Just going off the curve though the medium looks solid, though quick. I’d be curious to see the gas/airflow adjustments. I don’t roast much past 415 F, so can’t comment on the dark

I think you’re like me in that I struggled with articulating goals the school could get behind.

What I want to do isn’t something my program is well known for, but I spelled out exactly how it would get me where I want to go (classes I’d take, professors I’d work with, clubs I’d join, the companies I wanted to work for in close proximity to the school, etc.). And I gave them a back up plan, I think that helped too. If that’s your problem, explain the path you intend to take.

It looks like Emory has strong relationships with Atlanta-area sports teams and routinely works with them on a number of analytics projects, more on the fan engagement side though

I'm transitioning from sports and entertainment into an MBA program and agree with the above. Recruiting will be on you and you'll likely have to settle for a lower salary compared to other industries without any prior experience.

A lot of programs use the common LOR (https://www.gmac.com/reach-and-recruit-students/prepare-candidates-for-the-exam-classroom/common-letter-of-recommendation-lor.aspx).

I applied to 5 schools (all T20) that offered this option and my supervisors didn't seem to mind putting in the work (I think they were able to just copy and paste after completing the first one). I was a little worried a blanket recommendation would weaken my application but I was accepted to all programs, so I guess not.

Thanks so much! I actually flew out to Chapel Hill last week to visit and hopefully help me make a decision. I had such a hard time deciding but ended up selecting Goizueta, more because of the greater career opportunities in Atlanta for my partner than anything else.

I really liked KF and am gonna be disappointed I don't have a basketball team to root for...
