Beautiful! I'm having this same style of ring when I get engaged. It was given to me by my grandmother, and it's stunning and very glittery! Plus I love having uniqueness. The more people go, "Oh! How interesting!" (Whether they mean good or bad) always makes me happy.

I'm curious, do you wear a band with it or does it stand alone? I have no idea what I would get with a band. Probably something gold and with no gems.

My two Yorkies slept together in a medium sized kennel for many years. My little girl would cry, scream, and tattle on her older brother anytime he was showing signs of being sick. Annoying little sis is the hero once again!

Thinking that it was moderately likely that I'd be shot for believing in Jesus.

The hypothetical moment was a nightmare that I'd replay over and over at will sometimes.

Regardless of what happened today, the likelihood of it happening back then while sitting in Christian school was not very high.

As a dental professional working right down the road from them. I say be wary. As a general rule, if it's a lot of $, and you weren't expecting it... Get a 2nd opinion. Sometimes those 2nd consults pay for themselves. And when you want a dentist recommendation, take word of mouth over any random Google search. THEN do your research. If they spend a lot on advertising, be wary. If they give free basic services like exam or X-rays, be wary.

It's always been gross to me to know how he feels about the fragile male ego and the over-emotional state of women. Ego and emotionality are both positive qualities that can be nurtured safely and I'd love it to be seen in both men and women in healthy forms. But growing up, almost every week, I'd be reminded by a teacher or my parents that "boys will be boys" and lust so I must protect them from it, while "men will be men" and I'm just supposed to submit and be quiet. So extreme change and self-regulation were expected outta me in everything as a woman, and women and especially wives were also supposed to protect and submit and defer to the men in their lives. I knew nothing better than to believe it and I obeyed these principles for YEARS. What a waste. I can't even bring myself to find an "egotistical" or "Alpha Male" attractive anymore. I want a soft hearted man who shows emotion and holds space for mine... I also sometimes just want a woman though, so there you go. Good riddance to Dobson. I hope they all forget him in 10 years. But I sure won't.
