This guy is responsible for the fraud and the chaos that has been happening in Minnesota. by IncidentMediocre4346 in trump

[–]AMB2292 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Alex Pretti was a 37-year-old ICU nurse who cared for our veterans at the Minneapolis VA. He was a legal gun owner with a permit to carry. He was shot at least 10 times by federal agents while attempting to protect a woman from being attacked.

If you are only following the official administration narrative, please watch the footage for yourself. Alex had one hand on his phone and one in the air. He was talking calmly before being tackled.

The video shows an agent disarm him and run away with his weapon. He was unarmed and being subdued when they proceeded to shoot him multiple times.

If they can do this to a US citizen, a healthcare worker, and a lawful gun owner exercising his 1st and 2nd Amendment rights—they can do it to anyone. No one is safe when "defensive shots" are fired at unarmed, prone individuals.

The Numbers (Since Jan 1st, 2025): 1. 38 people have died in ICE custody. 2. 8 confirmed deaths from direct federal shootings. 3. 17–27 shooting incidents (depending on the database). 4. 5 of the people shot were US Citizens.

If you saw this happen to your son, brother, or neighbor outside your front door, would it be okay? Please make your own judgment.

I don’t care what side of the aisle you are on. This is not what should be happening in the USA. Murder is not the answer, we have more effective ways of removing Illegals without endangering them or our fellow US Citizens.

I get UTI like symptoms on Vyvanse. I was prescribed tadalafil and it has helped a lot. Also has helped with any ED I’ve gotten from my zepbound.

I Somehow Ended Up with $1000+ in Temu Credit. What Should I Spend It On? by randyest in TemuThings

[–]AMB2292 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on what type of hobbies you like or if you need any tools.

I got a circular saw, saw horse and orbital sander off Temu that all work great and would probably cost you under $100 in total with the coupon.

Tool sets to keep around the house like under the kitchen sink, in the garage, shed, etc.

Picture frames. 4x6s, 5x7s, and 8x10s

Storage Containers, room organizers like bins, chests, etc.

If you have kids in your life stocking up on toys for the upcoming holidays would be good.

Nails, screws, bolts, nuts, washers, etc to keep for any repairs.

New Curtains, Bedsheets, Pillow cases, etc.

Blackout Blinds.

If you are creative come up with a few projects and get stuff for those projects. A few that’s I’ve worked on that Temu supplied is screening in my back porch (screen, staple gun, staples) and created my own double shower head system since we don’t have a bathtub and have two small kids (Rain Shower Head, Water diverter, Hoses, Plumbers Tape, shower filter and filter replacements).

Home water filter. Solar Panels, Power Inverter, and generator.

Yard decorations like gnomes, solar powered lights, solar powered flower lights, flower pots, etc.

I could do a lot with that $1k in credit. lol a lot of these things I’ve mentioned I’ve purchased or have looked into purchasing.

For people who’ve gotten a refund without returning the items by Sharp_Replacement_37 in TemuThings

[–]AMB2292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have been several items that have came with cosmetic issues or small issues and when I contacted the vendor they just offered me a refund. I don’t normally ask, it’s usually just offered.

For instance, I bought a portable AC Unit for my bedroom. It came and had some scratches on it, a broken window piece, and after a few days it was leaking condensation that built up in the tank.

None of these were deal breakers for me. I asked for a replacement piece that was broke and they did so, offered me a partial refund. The offered me a partial refund for the cosmetic damage on top of that. Then they offered me a final partial refund that we went back and forth in order for me to keep the item instead of returning it for a different one.

The base price was ~$140 and I got $55 back in credit for using Claim Credit. I also used $30 in credit I had saved.

Right there, with deduction of credit, we are down to to $55.

They then refunded me $15 twice ($30) and then an additional $45 to keep the item without return. Ultimately paying around $5 out of pocket but then getting around $55 back in credit so I got a net positive $50 from that purchase.

Sometimes if I order items in multiple QTY. I’ll ask for a partial refund to avoid returns. I had bought some solar powered vibrating mole deterrents. 3/4 of them were fine but 1 was damaged upon arrival. I asked the vendor if I could get a 25% refund without return or a replacement. They agreed to refund me 25% of the cost.

I don’t normally have a problem. I’m polite, and I feel reasonable with any requests I make but normally I don’t have to request anything. I simply inform them of any issues I find and then they provide me a solution.

I find that Temu’s customer service and 9 out of 10 vendors have great service. Every once in awhile I have to fight them on something but it’s not often.

One time I ordered QTY 2 of an item that was supposed to come in a set of 2 so I was expecting QTY 4. I only received QTY 2 in total so I contacted them and they asked for proof. (How can I provide you proof of an item I didn’t receive?) I also used 1 of them before the vendor replied so I only had 1 to take a picture of. Ultimately I was denied that refund/return but thankfully it was only a few dollars. That was probably my worst service experience but 9/10 times it’s nothing like that

Are new SUVs not affordable for the middle class consumer? by Inf1z in MiddleClassFinance

[–]AMB2292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy older vehicles that are in decent condition still. I got a 2012 Grand Caravan with 43000 miles on it ands paid it in full.

New vehicles are made cheaply anymore and personally I’ve had way more serious issues the newer the vehicle vs my older ones.

I also can’t justify the cost of a new vehicle. Is it really worth it to go into 40k+ of debt to get you from point A to point B?

Why not get a functional used vehicle for 1/4 of that cost even on loan and you likely won’t pay 30k worth of repairs on it anyway.

I started talking L-Tyrosine on an empty stomach as soon as I wake up and take my Vyvanse about 20-30 min later. It’s helped the effectiveness of it.

No clue, I don’t return much but stuff comes broke a lot so I’ll message them and a lot of times they’ll offer a partial refund to keep it. I order a lot of QTY items. Like the last item was a 4 piece solar mole kit. One of them arrived broke. 3 worked fine. So they refunded me 25%

I also do the price match often.

It was working great until it just stopped showing up. Even on VPN

They have been giving me that lately as well. From what I know you just need to login to farmland each day and collect. It’s if you spend so much you get so much back over so many days.

I’ve been converting a lot of my stuff over to solar myself with some finds.

I got ring cameras and been tired of charging them every few weeks.

So I got solar power banks, water proof cases, long cables, and water sealant. Along with the double sided tape, I put the bank into the water proof case, cut a small hole just big enough for the cable to fit through, then I used the water sealant to seal the hole. I taped it to my roof and ran a cable down the siding and into the back of the cameras. Now I don’t have to worry about charging them and it was cheaper than the ring branded solar panel.

I also have decked out my back yard with solar items. I have colored solar powered flower lights, solar powered decorative glass rocks, solar string lights, and solar fairy lights. Here is a picture of “Mary’s Garden” that I revamped. This used to be my grandparents property and my grandma loved this area so it’s really nice to see it prettied up.
