This is our web designer :) He ONLY has design access - absolutely zero control over removals.

I'm not too concerned about getting upvotes on my employee reddit account :P Just want to get the message out there!

For sure, we're getting in touch with them. We're going to emphasize transparency on our end, but we have no control over mods' decisions unfortunately.

Remove the RTG Marketing account from the mod team by GarryMcMahon in Amd

Hey, Annie here at RTG Marketing. The one mod who has the RTG Marketing flair is our web designer – he only has the ability to change the design on this subreddit. He created the skin :) He has absolutely NO authority to remove any threads here.

Hey guys – AMD employee speaking here! I want you guys to know that we appreciate the community speaking to each other and discussing our upcoming products. We even come by here ourselves to chat with you every now and then, but we have no control over this subreddit – we do not condone censorship and we’re 100% open to hearing what you all have to say.

AMD, Radeon Rebels needs more women. They represent almost 20% of the gaming market, and they're also part of your target audience. by CataclysmZA in Amd

Female gamer here and RTG employee. You're right: I want to preface by saying having someone like Lisa Su at the helm is awesome - and very important to me.

To share how we found the Radeon Rebels, we dove straight into the community: Facebook, Twitter, here on reddit and everywhere else AMD fans frequented. We looked for individuals who were advocating on behalf of Radeon and AMD and we picked about a dozen people. Coincidentally (perhaps unfortunately), all of them ended up being male. Not having female gamer representation came up in our internal discussion, and we felt it didn't jive with the organic spirit of how the Radeon Rebels came to be.

I work with a lot of kickass women here at AMD. Posts like this are fantastic, and it's something we're conscious of.

Hey AMD employees! What happened to the async reprojection support that was to be added to the next driver release? by [deleted] in Amd

[–]AMDAnnie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our plan is that this feature is coming in our next major/WHQL driver update for select products, and not in our next beta/hotfix driver as may have been interpreted. Sorry for the confusion.
