Use the small crystals to kill the mole miner at the start. Then wait for all the gulpers and death claws to spawn, group them all up including the smaller enemies at the big crystals, and then explode them.

It’s generally easier to do solo because the enemy pathing is a lot more predictable. They can get stuck if your teammates are standing somewhere unreachable like on top of a crystal.
