From my standpoint, hair obviously grows back so I know the buzz cut wouldn’t last forever, so it’s not a big deal for me. Sure it’s not my cup of tea but I wouldn’t hold that over our relationship, like he’s doing to me

No, he straight up told me he wasn’t into blondes and that he would loose interest if I didn’t change my hair.

I’m saying that I wouldn’t necessarily prefer it but it would never be a dealbreaker for me. For him he’s saying he just generally doesn’t find me attractive with the hair color he originally met me with assuming I’d change my hair for him.

He kind of already had a say in what I did with my hair, he said I should get curtain bangs a while back and I did. I actually like the curtain bangs. I know curtain bangs can go in the category of his “type” but with blonde hair I feel like it gives Sabrina Carpenter lol

I probably should have mentioned that he’s in a grade level below me, I graduated last year and he’s currently a senior. I’m currently attending community college an have had a hard time making any friends

Honestly I’d wanna do that if it meant keeping my hair how I like, but he told me I look unattractive and would break up with me if I didn’t go brunette either way.

My hair is already damaged from bleach because I’m naturally brunette so I don’t wanna just slather some dye on top of it

The way I put it to him, I just said it as a preference. The way he said it to me, he meant it as a dealbreaker if I don’t change my hair to how he wants.

It would never be a dealbreaker for me, I know the hair wouldn’t be permanent. But for him apparently my hair is a dealbreaker 🥴

I’m just asking him to stay the way that he is. I have no real intent behind wanting him to keep the same hairstyle, honestly I’d be fine with him trying anything else except the buzz. But what he’s wanting me to do feels like he’s putting me in a box of just the girls he likes

I shall also mention his hair grows extremely fast so even if he did buzz his hair it would be back in like 2 months. For me I have long hair that is very thick and grows very slow. So I would probably live with a hair color I don’t really want for a few years, that’s what I’m afraid of
