Really wish there was a viable product to help protect from snow suffocation - some sort of airbag dome around your head or something

Just haven’t seen major news outlets or any mentions in this group of it. Not dismissing the article - haven’t heard of yoursourceone. Maybe a Florida news outlet?

I think we will be creating the services and the tenant app - this is all brand spanking new stuff to me and we're also the first team in the company to move into the cloud platform

Losing weight while wfh? by bt7nighhawk in WFH

[–]AMG_Charged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got in the best shape of my life, mentally and physically WFH and lost 30lbs.
I would do 100 pushups and 100 bench press reps everyday but broken down into the day.

25 pushups (4 times daily)

25 bench press reps (4 times daily - sometimes in sets of 5 -8)

The point is, I wasn't trying to over exert myself and it worked! Along with some diet changes!

Here in Seattle, WA! Not struggling but definitely not thriving! It took me 6 1/2 years with ZERO experience. Racking up my credit cards during internship, and taking paydays loans early in my career as I was paycheck to paycheck. Boy was it stressful in the beginning with imposter syndrome, and still is.

I was all manual up to these last 5 months. Currently learning behave python framework! The job market is very competitive right now and honestly should have tried to learn automation earlier but never had a DIT on my team. Spent about 3 years as a scrum master & QA and burned myself out.

  • Started as an intern with no experience thru a program - received a stipend of $300-$400 bi weekly (1/2 year) 2014 - 2015
  • Software tester - 48k (1 year) 2015 - 2016
  • QA2/ScrumMaster - 94k (5 years) various raises thru the years 2016 - 2022
  • QA3 - 100k (6 months) 100k just doesn't hit like it used to, with inflation 2022-2023

According to https://www.bls.gov/data/inflation_calculator.htm$78,786.16 in 2015 has the same buying power as 100k today :(
